Guesthouse vacation rentals in Lincoln County

Beautifully rustic, quiet and charming! We booked Penny’s place because we were looking for a rustic stay. The weather in September was ideal for this indoor/outdoor space. Fully stocked kitchen, and loads of space for dining and relaxing. We lucked out and didn’t have anyone else staying on property while we were, and I will say it’s a bit of a fishbowl, so if you’re looking for privacy, it’s not here. We had a superb time!

Lori’s love and tender care of the land has gifted a safe refuge for so many, from the wild turkeys to the red-winged blackbirds, to myself and other guests. I stayed during a snowy spring weekend and delighted in tending the fire, walking in the woods, soaking in the hot tub by star light, and melting from Lori’s incredible body work. On top of all that, Lori is a true gem of a human! I felt like I was connecting with a dear friend. She made sure I had everything I needed, even delivering more wood in the morning. It was a sweet sojourn and I hope to return as regularly as the seasons.

If I could give 10 stars, I would. This place is like heaven. We came in the off-season and it was more beautiful than I could ever imagine. The view from the balcony is the view of a lifetime. This is without a doubt the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed at as well as Dorothy and Normand being the best hosts imaginable. They made sure we were taken care of. The house is extremely private overlooking the water Dorothy and Normand provide every possible bit of information regarding restaurants, points of interest, hiking trails and they are always available to provide any suggestions. We are definitely coming back multiple times. I could go on and on how amazing our stay was. They are truly the greatest hosts ever on Airbnb and we have stayed at a lot of magnificent places. Thank you both for such a wonderful and memorable experiences of a lifetime. We will never forget it.

We thought this was a wonderful Air BandB! It is a modern, well built building nestled in the woods with a modern kitchen and bathroom. Everything is clean and comfortable, easy parking and a very nice deck. You are within 10 minutes of good restaurants, a great food coop and nice hikes. We would definitely return!

Dorrie and David’s place was beyond what I could’ve ever expected. The perfect retreat for a few nights away. They were so responsive and kind with their messages and David offered a warm welcome. I hope to visit again!

We just returned from our stay at ‘Rusty’s Resort” in Summerville Maine. Our host Russ exceeded our expectations in every regard: his property was exactly as described but his hospitality and responsiveness went way beyond expectations. The initial food made available for breakfast was tailored to our specific needs, fresh flowers on the table (gladioluses) were beautiful, great views of the surrounding gardens and lake, as well as new fishing gear for not only us but our 5 years old grandson – who caught his first fish ever off Rusty’s dock. The amenities in the kitchen were great coupled by comfortable furnishings and a 5-star bathroom experience. This property was perfectly situated close to our family but also an easy drive to Augusta, Belfast, Camden and Rockland. At the end of our stay, Russ was no longer just a property host but had become a friend. We highly recommend the experience this listing and Russ delivers. We will be back! Pete & Robie

We had a lovely stay in Pongsakorn’s guest house! We were in the area for the Thompson Ice Harvesting event in Bristol, and the space was just perfect as a crash pad for myself, my husband and our 3 yr old. Pongsakorn was extremely communicative and flexible, and the suite was very clean and comfortable. We’d would definitely stay again if we’re ever in the area

The Ticket office was a nice little getaway. It was clean, beautifully decorated, quiet and cozy. It was just what we needed for a fall getaway. Sasha was a great host and we really enjoyed the complementary treats and signed card to welcomes us to the ticket office. Would definately stay again!!!!

This place is charming and a great location for enjoying Boothbay Harbor! Easy walk to town. Great water view with a very nice city park across the water for great people watching from your porch! The nice floating docks make the kayaks easily accessible for getting out on the water to enjoy the beautiful scenery and shoreline. Would definitely return again!

I travel for work, I stay at hotels and AirBnbs twice a month as a result. This was the best find in the year since starting my job, which spans a lot of the north east. The Gate House is not attached to the Maine Evergreen Hotel, but still completely associated with it. As a result, you have a private 1 bedroom “hotel cabin” with a full kitchen (fridge, stove, and oven) along with a washing machine and dryer. However, it still has the best amenities of a true hotel: breakfast in the main hotel across the parking, house cleaning as needed, and a phenomenal service staff. There is even a grocery store within easy walking distance to cook conveniently. Alec and staff were the most amazing and accommodating hosts, from check in to any requests that we had. We had left our previous hotel because of internet issues, Alec ensured that we had high speed wireless internet working from the time of our check in. Will be staying again on all future trips to the area.

Stephanie’s place was a wonderful little getaway! We had car trouble on our way and she was very understanding with check in and even left us some things for breakfast since we weren’t able to stop at a store beforehand. Definitely would visit again!

This was the Maine experience we were hoping for. Quaint country cottage overlooking Cobboseeconte Stream. Peaceful and quiet with super friendly hosts Kevin & Aziza. Liked the layout of the single bunk room upstairs between the two larger cozy bedrooms. Enjoyed wandering the lovely nature on the property and across the road at the river. A winter wonderland just a quick drive from town and great snow skiing at nearby Sunday River Ski Resort.
