Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lewes District

We had a lovely stay here - the home is very nice, and at a great location, the garden and views were perfect. The host gave helpful clear instructions, we had no issues with parking, and made use of the recommendation of restaurants from the host. The main road noise did not bother us at all. I would highly recommend.

Tim was a great host friendly and responsive and sent a comprehensive set of information on the house in advance of our stay. We wanted an earlier check in as going to a wedding and Tim was graciously able to accommodate us. House was perfect for our family including 2 infants. Thank you Tim ! Would love to stay again !

This is such a stunning home. I can't stress how beautiful it is. We spent one night here for my wife's 40th Birthday. Beautiful and picturesque surroundings away from the busy city, giving the ability for the small group of us (friends and family) to get together in one place for the evening full of movies and laughter. Just what my wife wanted and it made her heart full. Cheryl and the co-hosts we're communicative, super helpful and accommodated any of the requests we had well in advance. A shame we couldn't check out later due to another incoming booking, but we soaked up every second. Worth every penny, and we'd be back in a heartbeat. Thanks for accommodating us.

Really enjoyed our two days in the High Weald landscape. Lorna's place was great for our family with two young children, she was very helpful in giving recommendations for days out and places to eat - we took them and they were great. Close enough to local village (with nice pub) to walk to in 10mins while being peacefully situated amongst fields. Place was pristine and everything to a high standard, working well. A good range of family games as well!

We had fantastic time at Egmont Farm (my family of 4 plus 2 grandparents). Sarah was extremely helpful prior to check-in supplying local recommendations and even sharing 2 short videos helping us locate entrance and instructions of hot tub (it was easy to use and lovely and warm). The accommodation was ideal and I would say bigger than the photos suggested. Beautiful surroundings and my son loved the football goal! Everything was clean and to a high standard and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. .. locally we had fantastic meal from Indian takeaway and lunch at Lime Wharf Cafe after we paddle boarded. Plenty to do a short drive away too. Fantastic weekend all round.

Sarah was an Amazing host and I couldn't have asked for a better host or a more wonderful house. Sarah's home was stunning and was so lovely to be near a wonderful big park.

We had a fantastic stay. Beautiful house, clean, bright and airy. Beds were comfortable and bedding was clean and fresh. 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms (both with great showers/water pressure) didn’t have time for a bath, but that looked very inviting. Had small issue with hot tub which Ivana sorted immediately. Could not wish for anything better. Coffee shop opposite, fish and chip shop and amazing pub within 100 yards so great location. Can’t wait to return :)

Great location walkable to beach and shops. Lovely garden and space for the whole family. Characterful house and amazingly well stocked kitchen made family meals very easy. Thanks to Alexandra.

We had a really relaxing and comfortable stay at Annemarie’s place. The rooms were all perfectly clean and very homely. She made us feel so welcome with the thoughtful supplies provided. Overall a lovely stay and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to unwind in peace and quiet.

Such an amazing flat, beautifully decorated. Jasper left such clear instructions for everything. Loved the area of St Leonards. Would recommend to everyone!

We needed somewhere to stay while finding a place to live in London. The flat was excellent and well equipped for our needs. Great place to stay.

Marsha was a fantastic host and very helpful. Design House added extra excitement to our trip and the location was perfect for a weekend by the coast. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, Marsha kindly left out a beach BBQ and a dog bed, plus additional mattresses for our children. We loved the fun interior and many quirks, highly recommended for a fun filled trip with friends or family.

The carriage was lovely and situated in a perfect spot , 5/10 min to nice pubs , beach and funfair . The kids loved the alpacas in the field next to us . Only one issue , not enough cooking/bbq pots pans and utensils for 4 adults and 3 small kids but overall we had a great time and would love to stay again .

This is a lovely and comfortable place to stay set in superb countryside. The gardens and facilities are great, and my son and I particularly enjoyed playing on the pool table. It’s definitely a place to revisit and we would recommend it 100 percent.

We loved staying here, the location was perfect, right next to a footpath where we started our walk. The annexe was lovely and Debbie left us a wonderful basket of goodies, including breakfast, snacks and a bottle fizz.

We had a great stay at White Hill Lodge. The directions and check in instructions were spot on, so it was easy enough to find the place. Dom was a great host, who was really lovely and genuinely cared about us making the most of our stay. The local village is beautiful and a stones throw away from lovely countryside walks, where you can take in the views and enjoy the surrounding serenity. The Lodge was clean and perfect for the two of us, with a well fitted-out kitchen, supported by essentials like cling film, foil, milk and cooking oil. The WiFi was great and we had no issues at all during our stay. Shoreham train station is a short walk away and trains to London were quick and reliable, with us returning to Shoreham late at night after watching shows, having no difficulties getting back to the Lodge using public transport. We'd certainly recommend the Lodge for a quiet, tranquil stay, within an easy commute to the capital. Thanks for our stay Dom! All the best!

We had an absolutely lovely time celebrating my partners birthday. The location was easy to find and get in to, we had so much fun having a BBQ and making s’mores over the fire pit and the bed was so comfortable. We loved being so close to the animals as well, thank you so much for everything!!

we were lucky to stumble across this gem due to a last minute cancellation. it was exactly what we were hoping for and more. the location, the cabin, the surroundings were magical and the break from reality we so needed. thank you so much Clare for all your help and for allowing us to see your part of the world in such a perfect way. We had such a wonderful experience at this Airbnb! The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly cozy. It’s dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us, and our pup felt right at home. The hot tub was already warmed up and ready to enjoy as soon as we arrived—such a relaxing treat after a long drive. The host was absolutely lovely and went above and beyond by leaving fresh baked bread, biscuits, granola, milk, and orange juice for us. Those thoughtful touches really made the stay feel extra special. Highly recommend this gem—would definitely stay again!

Edd’s cabin is pure off grid luxury! If you need to get away from the rat race - this cabin certainly promises quiet, calm & not another sole in sight! Phone signal was sporadic which surprisingly we enjoyed & embraced, allowing us to connect around the fire pit enjoying the wine that Edd had left at the cabin for us on arrival!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Cabin and couldn't recommend it more. The cabin itself is so cosy and relaxing with thoughtful extras such as homemade cake and granola. The view from the cabin is beautiful looking out onto a field with horses which was especially special to wake up to and felt very secluded. We especially loved the outdoor bath and enjoying a glass of wine around the fire in the evening. We will definitely be back.

The Forest Den made for an absolutely lovely getaway. The location was ideal; very secluded and peaceful, but close enough to local towns/villages, and literally right next to Ashdown Forest! The fact that there were friendly alpacas, dogs and cats on-site was an added bonus too! Alyson was kind enough to herd the alpacas together for us so we could see them up close and stroke them. As a host, Alyson was very friendly, super responsive, and gave us loads of great local suggestions for restaurants and things to do. I would recommend Alyson and the Forest Den without hesitation.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin over the Easter weekend. Groombridge is a lovely, tucked away area and the cabin feels very remote and peaceful. Christopher made us feel very at home and I cannot recommend the pizza more! Perfect dough recipe. Comfortable sleeping and spacious for 7. Highly recommend ⭐️
