Vacation rentals in Lesbury

A handy stopover for us on our way back from a few days in Edinburgh, we were able to relax at The Malthouse and explore the area. Salthouses and Bamburgh’s beaches are a short drive away and although Alnwick Castle is closed over winter there’s enough to do locally

The cottage was absolutely beautiful! Even better than in the photos. It was warm and welcoming and immaculately clean. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had every appliance and kitchen aid you could need. The property is right in the centre of the village and we enjoyed exploring the area and local restaurants and pubs. We will definitely be back!

My mum and I stayed at Samantha's, 'Malcolm Miller House' in Alnmouth. The house is absolutely beautiful. The first thing mum and I said, as we opened the door, was 'Wow'. Malcolm Miller house exceeded our expectations, the pictures were fabulous, so we knew we were going to be staying somewhere quite special, it was fantastic. It has everything required for our five day stay; very comfortable beds, a gorgeously comfy suite; huge fully equipped kitchen, and the central heating warmed the whole house up in no time. It is a perfect venue with it's own parking bay, and a great base for visiting surrounding towns, the coast and villages. We will definitely recommend you and your home in Alnmouth and hopefully will book for another visit in 2025. Thank you Samantha. xx 😊

This is a fabulous place to stay - a luxurious cottage with a lovely garden, looking out into open fields. It’s not often I miss an Airbnb after I’ve left but this one stayed on my mind as we loved staying there. Beds are super comfy, great log burner, all the home comforts you need. I walked the dog from the house on a bridle path just behind the cottages. We visited Craster, Bamburgh Castle and went on an amazing boat trip to the Farne Islands from Seahouses - so many seals and their pups, as well as a peregrine falcon on the sea stacks. The sun shone throughout our stay which made it even more brilliant - but we’d still have had a great time in the rain I’m sure. Scott and Jo were very helpful and great at communicating. We felt very welcome. Would love to come back - we recommend highly to others.

Lovely little cottage , beautiful and clean with everything you could need, walkable to local pubs , restaurants and the town centre . 2 minutes to the sea and on the Northumberland coastal route so lots of beautiful views and nearby places to visit .

Beautiful property that we’d come back to stay in, in a heartbeat. The Flat felt incredibly homely, well heated with lots of well thought decor, comfy sofas etc & xmas decorations! It was a lovely surprise to find a lot of the things we usually have to go out and buy (washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing machine tablets, cooking oil, salt & pepper etc) were there in ample supply. The flat was modern, clean and well looked after. It also had beautiful views over the golf course to the beach & sea. We got to see some spectacular sunrises and sunsets.

What a great place to stay. It's a great location in beautiful Warkworth. We've visited many times over the years and we were very pleased to find somewhere so lovely and comfortable to stay in the village. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Warkworth in the future.

I have already recommended this place to EVERYONE I know! So spacious, warm, comfortable and the VIEWS. Unbelievable. Wish we’d booked for longer - so many things to do nearby and the home alone is a reason to stay!! We brought our 18 month old - they had a travel cot and high chair (bring a mattress for the cot!) there’s no stair gate (we were told!) we managed for anyone wondering! Eagle eyes til bedtime! Honestly never stayed in a place like it. Beautiful.The salt water makes the windows hard to keep clean which ruined the views v slightly but the lovely balconies meant this wasn’t an issue! There’s a helpful folder and guest book for recommendations! There’s an EV charger but it’s for personal use so don’t rely on it! (We didn’t but would hate for someone to make that mistake).Tracey was quick to respond to messages & we met her as we were leaving - lovely woman. There was WiFi but it was very up and down so download whatever you need before you arrive. We will 100% be back! ASAP!!
