We had a great time at Sylvette and Christian's. The hot tub is great! The place is super cozy. We feel very nice there. You can take nice walks around the area. We're thinking about going back!

Super great accommodation, very clean in a great setting with the pond right next door. With lots of care. That's really awesome. Thierry is a super nice host and very helpful. So the jaccouzi but just whaouh🥰. I recommend it 1000%. I hope to have the opportunity to come back. Thanks so much for everything🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.

Gite rented for a week. Very nice. Good designed for 10. Great hot tub. Very friendly fireplace in living room. Excellent stay . All basic necessities are available (dish linens, cleaning products...)

We had a pleasant stay at David's. The accommodation was impeccable and true to description. Well placed to discover the area.

The winery is an ideal place to spend a friendly time with friends and family. We were able to benefit from the jacuzzi and outdoor sauna to rest at the end of the day as well as the extremely warm and comforting stove during this fall period. In addition, Pierre was very welcoming and available to help us and advise us on activities and visits in the area. We end this playful weekend and highly recommend this place.

very nice stay at Véronique's place. The kitchen is extremely well equipped (toaster as in hotels, juice extractor, egg cooker, coffee maker... plan a great brunch because there is plenty to do!). the garden is super nice, so we plan a stay on sunny days to enjoy more (pool and jacuzzi). nothing to see but don't miss the bakery which is a 5min walk away! the pastries are a pure delice (and the pastries make you really want!). Véronique is a super responsive host. In short, I would highly recommend her place!

Great welcome by Romain and Elise who are very responsive and attentive to the needs expressed. Beautiful heated swimming pool and lovely garden. We had a lovely stay in a lovely stay. However, be aware of the interior staircase which can be dangerous for very small adventurous ones.

A great stay, the Airbnb is atypical and immerses us directly in the caves of Saumur. A big thank you to Christine who was an exceptional host.

Sylvie and her family and the puppy, made us feel like friends. The garden was very secure for our dog, lots of lovely places to sit. A good walk for us could be found four minutes walk up the (quiet) road where there was a cycle path that took us into the town with its many amenities, including a lovely little bar and restaurant. Would certainly visit again. Sylvie was specially helpful with any request we made and even telephoned her vet to arrange the necessary paperwork for travelling back to UK with a dog. SO kind, .

Very quiet and comfortable

The apartment at La Maison Rouge is a fantastic place to stay while in Chinon and Nathalie and Vincent were excellent hosts - they responded to my messages promptly and provided all the information we needed. The main bedroom and living area of the apartment are very spacious and comfortable. The apartment was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The parking permit was very useful and we always found it easy to find a parking space. We loved staying here and would be very happy to return.

Very pleasant stay at Yann's. He is very welcoming and very responsive. The house was very well heated and the location is quiet and restful. We were able to visit Gizeux Castle and the Jules Desbois Sculptor Museum. We recommend this listing as described by other guests.

We loved our stay in Francis' house. It is large, old, peaceful, beautifully located across from the river Loire, and very close to many of the Loire's gorgeous chateax. Francis is a perfect host and very quick to respond to any questions or concerns you may have. The kitchen is very well equipped, large and comfortable. There's a sun room and garden as well as tv room and four bedrooms, two downstairs served by a WC and shower room, and two upstairs with a WC and a shower room on the same floor. There is a new restaurant in walking distance from the house run by a young local couple with a dream. Delicious food, small, intimate and with a terrace for summer months. A reservation is recommended. It is called Nuances. I am happy to recommend Francis' place if you are visiting the area.

We had a lovely stay. Daniel is very welcoming, available and attentive. The place is peaceful, spacious and has a nice view on the setting sun and vines Although secluded, the cottage remains close to places to visit including Doué la Fontaine (cave places (see Troglodytes and sarcophagi with a very interesting guide, or the impressive Faluns Mysteries, or the zoo (which we did not have time to visit) Finally, a very good winemaker is nearby;)

Just stayed one night at Stephanie’s beautiful apartment. Very quaint and calm spot to completely relax. Stephanie was so good to us as we arrived late and she stayed up to let us in. Nothing was a problem. She was really so lovely. Would highly recommend.

We had a great time staying with Sarah and her family! Our kids enjoyed all the toys available . The living room and garden are particularly nice! Sarah is a very available, responsive and friendly host. A beautiful stay that we will be happy to renew!

We very much enjoyed our six-night stay. We were looking for a quiet, comfortable house in the French countryside with a pool, and this was just right. The house is spacious and airy with a pleasant open-plan kitchen / dining / sitting room area to relax in, with large sliding French windows opening out onto a private outdoor dining area. Just a few steps away is the generously-sized L-shaped pool, with deep and shallow ends. The pool water was cold, but very clear and clean. It was refreshing to have a swim whenever we liked and then warm up in the sun afterwards (we were lucky with the weather). Beds were comfortable, with good lighting for bedtime reading. The village is very quiet (not a place for food shopping) and lies in countryside that is devoted to vineyards for miles and miles around. Marie was very discreet but always available to help, on one occasion phoning the boulangerie in a nearby village to check opening times for us. Overall, a very peaceful and relaxing stay.

Our stay went perfectly well. Our 11-year-old kids (and ourselves) loved the place, especially the outdoor structures with a very large pool in which they crazily had fun. The place is very friendly, our hosts were very nice and hospitable. Beautiful environment, the village is very friendly, for lovers of tranquility and authenticity. To discover! ps: we loved the pizzas offered by the village bar owners:-)

Had a wonderful stay at this chateau. Reception went very smoothly and they were always ready for us whenever we had any questions. They have also recommended other vineyards nearby and arranged for us the wine tastings. Cottage was very nice and tidy. Nothing to complain about. Very much use was made of the beautiful large swimming pool with barbecue in the adjoining pool house. There were few other guests on the property, so we almost always had these to ourselves. Winetasting was also very nice and educational. We were welcomed as a bottle of wine but have bought a drink during the barbecue by the pool at the pool. The highlight of the whole chateau was the sweet affectionate cat who liked to stay in our cottage 😁

Great stay as a family (2 adults + 3 children). Vincent is very welcoming and passionate about his property, we have the privilege of having a little historical glimpse of the place upon arrival. The property is quietly located in a relaxing and soothing environment. We were not able to enjoy the outdoors given the season, but we will surely be happy to come back next time in the warm season. The house is warm and well appointed. Kids loved the bunk beds, including the intermediate bed that gives the feeling of being in a cabin. It's big enough, there's room for everyone without stepping on it. Suffice to say that the school board with chalk has busy the kids a lot! The pool area is not very large but more than enough to have fun. The location is ideal, in less than 2 minutes you find yourself in the pedestrian streets and the hyper-center, without having the nuisance. Looking forward to coming back!
