Vacation rentals with beach access in Leidschendam-Voorburg

Maurits is a very relaxed and welcoming host, and went out of his way to be helpful. Communication was friendly and very efficient. The spacious appartment (small bedroom but large, open sitting / dining area) is part of his family home and is within walking distance of the city centre, in a quiet, fairly boho neighbourhood, with lots of cafés, restaurants and vintage-type shops. Decorated in a stylish, slightly shabby-chic vibe, with tea & coffee provided, and fresh milk in the fridge - a nice touch!

Linda is a perfect host and communicated with us before, during and after our stay, answering all our questions. Finding the property and checking in was easy. The location is a very quiet residential area, with reliable transport links (tram and bus) to all the major sights of interest, shopping centre and railway stations. The property itself is a beautiful art deco apartment which retains a lot of its original features, without sacrificing 21st century comfort and amenities. The bed was really comfortable and we slept very well. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and has everything you need to prepare and cook a full meal and there is a dishwasher (hurray!). Shower is great with an unfailing supply of hot water and having a washing machine and tumble drier was a real bonus as we arrived with a lot of laundry. The neighbours were friendly. If we come back to Den Haag, we hope to stay here again as it's a great base from which to explore both city and seaside.

It's a beautiful, comfortable apartment and very well connected to public transportation. The main loft room is ideal and the second is elegant and wonderfully comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen were spotless and every detail is nice and pleasant. There is total autonomy and Gonny is super friendly and respectful. We have enjoyed 5 wonderful days as a family!

We had a briliant stay at this beautiful apartment. Everything we needed. Great instructions and information ahead of our arrival, easy check in and a real bonus having use of the secure parking garage just around the corner. Apartment clean and tidy, really comfortable beds and great shower. We felt really at home and appreciated the basket of goodies on arrival. It is a very quiet neighbourhood with some lovely cafes, restuarants and bars all within 10 to 15 minutes walk away. We visited Delft for the day, really quick on the train and a visit to the beach is a must. Monique and Erik are extremelly responsive and supply a welath of information in their guide. We enjoyed meeting the cats. Would definitely stay again. Thank you both for making our stay so enjoyable.

The flat is in a lovely 17th century house on the canal. It is a 15 minute walk from the station which is very convenient if you’re travelling around to other places as we did. Marjan is very nice and communicative.

Merith's place was great -- super cute and right on the canal. Many shops and restaurants close by. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, there was a cool market across the canal, where you could get produce, nuts, cheese, fish, and a variety of goods. Her place is about 10-15 minute walk to the Leiden Centraal Station, which was very convenient. The public transport system in The Netherlands is excellent. We went to Amsterdam, Gouda, The Hague, Haarlem. And we were here during tulip season, so we went to Keukenhof Gardens twice. During this season, they run a bus from Leiden Centraal Station right to Keukenhof, easy. Merith's place was clean and well appointed, just as described. I recommend it!

We stayed at Niels' place for 4 nights and enjoyed every second! Niels was very flexible with the check-in, gave us a great introduction and also provided us directly with useful tips regarding the area. In addition, he always responded directly when we had a question. The apartment was great! Everything extremely clean and perfectly equipped. The sea view and the short distance to the beach were the absolute highlights for us. We can absolutely recommend a stay and will definitely be back!

A beautiful house in a very nice area. The local town is great, with nice parks, shops, bars and restaurants. Transport into the city /beach is super easy too. Japie, the resident cat is a bonus!

What lovely people! We are so warmly welcomed into their home. Every morning there was a breakfast ready and we sat down to chat about the plans of the day. Have a great start to the day. We also got a lot of tips on what to do nearby and the tips were super nice! The poffertjes Sunday for the return trip wonderful. They also have a nice play area for the children and nothing is a problem for them. Nice location with great people where you feel at home and it is very central in the Randstad. All major cities and the beach are easily accessible. I am grateful that I was able to meet these nice people, thank you for the nice days Petra and Leo!

I had an amazing stay at Meike & Erik's, I highly recommend it ! The house is beautiful, the hosts are very welcoming, and the house is not so far from the city center of the Hague.

Lovely home very central to such a pretty town, walking distance from restaurants, cafes and shops, and 15 minutes walk down the canal for the metro. The living space is cosy and the kitchen is well equipped. We had an amazing time staying here :)

Staying at Boudi's was really indescribably beautiful! We were greeted personally, it was like coming home again. The house is so beautifully lovingly and personally furnished that you don't want to leave. The beds were also particularly noteworthy, they were great! The location is quiet, a beautiful garden and a great neighborhood. Katwijk can be reached in 20 minutes by car. Boudi is a very warm host. Would love to come back anytime! Highly recommended! Large (by Dutch standards) house with 3 floors (2BR on second floor plus loft/laundry room on top floor). Modern kitchen with dishwasher and many appliances. Nice patio with table surrounded by grapes. In center of town (so don't expect to hear crickets at night), steep stairs (common for any multi level home). If you are allergic to lingering cigarette scent or cannot walk steep stairs, this place is not for you. Free street parking but accessible by bus or direct train from schiphol airport. 3 supermarkets within 3 minutes walk, and farmers market on Fridays in front of the house. solar powered, umbrellas, heineken, senseo coffee, fast wifi provided.

We stayed at The Scheveningense Meisjes during the beach festival LIve on the Beach. It was a perfect base. You can walk to the boulevard and the beach. Supermarket within walking distance and a more than complete kitchen available with delicious coffee. The apartment looks super cozy and has a small balcony ( which unfortunately no sun shines ). We put the mattress on the sofa bed because the loft was a bit low but we are both long ( 1.90 m ). Slept wonderfully! Due to a late arrival, we did not have any personal contact, but the check-in went very smoothly and quickly, as well as the app contact during the stay. Already had a lovely weekend!

To say the host is fantastic is an understatement! The place was spick and span and showed how house proud the host is. It’s truly a home away from home- you would want to take care of it preciously like it’s yours. What a gem ❤️

The apartment was lovely, on a little street with great shop, cafes, restaurants, and a supermarket around the corner. An easy walk to the city center, and a tram right around the corner. We had a lovely time!

Wouter's place is in a great location. On foot, you can very quickly reach both the southern beach and the north beach. A large supermarket is very close. The apartment itself is well furnished and super cozy. We will be happy to come back if we can. Thank you!!!

Marloes is very friendly and helpful, she prepared everything very well for our stay. She also kindly allowed us to check-in earlier. The neighbourhood is very peaceful and walkable to the shopping street and the beach. Tram 9 is right around the corner and convenient to get to the city centre. Recommended for a relaxing stay!

The apartment was great! Near the sea and beach, near a tram stop so we can very easily go to the center that way, and very cute :) ! Imre is highly reactive and very helpful too!!
