Millstone Cottage Newmillerdam

DavidRating, 5 stars6 days ago
What a hidden gem! This cosy cottage was a real home from home — beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect: peaceful and quiet, yet just a stone’s throw from a lovely local pub and some wonderful walking trails. The kitchen was very well equipped, making it easy to cook meals when we didn’t feel like going out. Everything was thoughtfully provided, and the attention to detail really showed. We absolutely loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a charming setting.

Wend Gardens Annx , Carleton Skipton. Pet friendly

ChrisRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Mel and Jason’s place was lovely. Communications and instructions were super clear, and lots of ideas for places to go. I was there for a short weekend with my dog and the village was great for little dog walks and a good base for exploring. The place was lovely with everything you might need. I didn’t need any help but I was certain that if I did it would have been no problem. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Cozy Stay at Animal Sanctuary

LucyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Thank you so much Jake for a beautiful stay amongst your animals. It really does live you to it's name of 'Magical Barn'. We celebrated our daughter's first birthday here and it was a trip to remember. We joined one of Jake's tours of the animal sanctuary and it was clear how loved his animals are, their happiness really shines through! Jake's communication with us was on point! He got back to me so quickly with questions etc! The apartment was a little smaller than I anticipated it to be so I don't think it will comfortably fit 4 adults but it was perfect for me, my husband and our daughter. The apartment is so beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean! The special touches really make you feel so at home too - the freshly baked artisan bread that was left was to die for! We had a real moment of peace (and giggles!) when we were sat in the hot tub after our daughter went to bed and the alpacas came to say hello. Thank you Jake for making our stay a trip to remember!

And we certainly made the most of enjoying the fantastic hot tub! We would definitely come back to stay here again!

We had a great weekend at Amy's home, the view is stunning, as is the house, with a great open plan space, perfect for friends to get away. There is everything you might possibly need in the kitchen which is well laid out. The beds are very comfy, it was quite difficult to get out of them on Sunday morning to be out by 10 😀. Amy was very helpful when we had an issue with the showers. Great stay and highly recommended.

Compact and bijou apartment

ClaireRating, 5 starstoday
The apartment was exactly as described and shown in the photos. Laura provided excellent directions which took us straight to the gate. Stewart was there when we arrived, so let us in and made us very welcome. The garden is beautiful, and he did say we could use it but sadly we didn't have time. As others have said, Laura provided milk, orange juice, bread, butter and marmelade which was a nice touch and meant we didn't need to shop. The whole apartment was well equipped with everything we needed, with a cosy and comfortable sitting area. We only used the kitchen for breakfast but it looked well enough equipped to cook in if necessary. Beds were also comfortable and it was lovely to wake up to the sound of birds in the garden and no traffic!

We decided to take our book club on a 2 night getaway. We found Bumblebee cottage and fell in love. There is lots of space, the cottage is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The local are is absolutely stunning and we went on a few lovely walks. The wildlife we saw was incredible and we got so lucky with the weather. I can’t recommend Bumblebee cottage highly enough. The host was lovely and accommodating too. So responsive and helpful. An idyllic rural retreat, an ideal getaway.

RaufRating, 5 stars1 month ago
First time I used an Airbnb and it could not have been a more pleasurable experience. From the moment we got there everything was just perfect and during the stay the days got better. Ian and Anne were the perfect hosts. Ian was always available on the phone when I needed help or advice and the farm tour was a lot of fun for me and the wife but not so much for the kids :) cannot wait to visit again !
