“Natalie’s newly built, sweet country cottage was just perfect for our most recent Round Top/Warrenton shopping weekend! She and her husband have thought of everything; comfy beds, a large walk-in shower, toiletries, wine and wine glasses, coffee maker and coffee, mini-fridge and microwave, as well as a TV with Hulu, Pandora, and Wi-fi. The front porch is a perfect spot for enjoying the sunset and gazing upon their acreage with many oak trees, stocked pond and pier. And the drive to and from “The Show” never took more than eight to ten minutes. We cannot wait to book another stay very soon!”

“The Lucky Barn is an adorable and peaceful stay just outside of Henkel Square. We had a wonderful time in the quiet escape enjoying the sounds of nature and the land to walk around on. The barn cats were our friendly greeters and Sue was as a great host. Clean and quiet with everything you need, we will recommend and certainly be back!”

“From the moment you drive through the private gate, you are entering a relaxing paradise! Howdy Ranch has deer grazing in the fields, a lighted fountain on the private lake, and rocking chairs on the porch. You can't help but relax and enjoy your time with your loved ones. We felt like we were the only people in the world with the quiet, relaxing ranch vibe. The trees, pond, and pastures were fun to explore with our children and dogs. When the sun sets, it is quiet, safe, and secluded. We sat out around the fire and watched the stars and relaxed with coffee while our kids made s'mores. We felt like we were a million miles away from our fast-paced lives. When you leave the ranch and exit the gate, it's a hop, skip, and a jump to downtown Giddings! There are some cute little restaurants and take out places very close, as well as a Wal-Mart and Brookshire Brothers grocery store within 5 minutes of the ranch. The inside of Howdy Ranch is thoughtfully appointed and tastefully decorated. And did I mention it was clean? It was spotlessly clean! You really feel at home. There are pillows on the couches, extra comforters in the bedrooms, toiletries in the bathrooms. In the kitchen, there are K-cups under the Keurig, water bottles in the refrigerator, Tide pods in the laundry room. There is a fully appointed kitchen with pots and pans and serving utensils. Every little thing is so thoughtful and makes you instantly feel at home. The decor on the walls is a wonderful little country touch, and the solid leather & wood furniture and rustic farmhouse decor was perfect for completing the laid back country vibe of the Howdy Ranch. Our 13-year-old wants to attend A&M, so she was very excited to see all the "howdy" and A&M accents in the farmhouse. Our kids spent their time there fishing, swinging on the swing, and playing with the dogs in the field. At the end of the day, they were happy, worn out and slept like rocks. We just returned home today, but we are already looking at our calendars to see when we can arrange to come back. We are so excited to return and spend a week at the Howdy Ranch.”
