The place is tidy and the host is very friendly. Her home is spacious and airy with oriental style stylish decor. We definitely want to visit again next time. It is recommended to use the surrounding trails.

If you are looking for peace and nature, this is the place, a pretty little village of 600 inhabitants. Martine is welcoming. The accommodation is nice, cozy and equipped with all the necessities, we had forgotten the towels and were pleasantly surprised to find some available, the bedding is comfortable. The area is very beautiful. Upaix is close to a small town Laragne Monteglin where you will find all the useful shops and restaurants, we ate at the Delicatessen and we recommend it. We were not able to eat at Upaix at Beau Soleil because you have to book in advance. We also recommend visiting the Sisteron Citadel, which is a 15-minute drive away. We plan to return to this place to discover the Gorges de la Méouge.

Beautiful cottage in a very pretty small perched village, close to many hiking departures and close to the Gorges de la Méouge, a fabulous site. Michelle is very inviting and helpful. Her cottage is very well maintained, decorated with taste. There is everything you need for a great stay. It feels like home. What a pleasure to enjoy an unobstructed view of the valley and the Ecrins massif, from the terrace. So feel free to book, if you are looking for a peaceful place in the middle of nature, the little house by the fountain is a haven of peace. We will keep the address and will be sure to return. Great resort, very nice apartment. In particular, the conservatory/ dining room is unique with a magnificent view of the mountains: especially when it storms and rains outside (We were visiting in April). 5 out of 5 stars, highly recommended!
