Vacation rentals in Laxton

We had a lovely , relaxing stay, and we especially enjoyed watching the cows moving around the field! The cottage was both cosy and spacious, well-equipped and comfortable for our family of six. There is lots to do in the area, as well as accessible for days out further afield. Laura was very quick to respond to any queries we had. We would definitely recommend for a real getaway!

Very comfortable and cosy, looks like the photos, excellent wifi. Lovely little garden and great amenities. Old Ollerton is an interesting little place, and plenty of walks on the doorstep. You don’t have to go far either to visit interesting places. Lots of recommendations too of local places to visit. So much to do, we definitely want to come back 😊

This is a lovely little find. It has a lot to do for families or a group of friends with a lovely interior design that makes you feel at home. Any queries I had Victoria was responsive and always helped where she could! Will 100% go again.

Exactly like the images, cozy and comfortable. Catherine did an amazing job for decorating for my partners 21st. Couldn’t have been any better!!

Shelley’s place was lovely and perfect for our trip. The annex was cosy and very clean with lots of thoughtful touches to make our trip even more comfortable. Checking in and out was really easy and communication great. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone.

This is a rare moment when I give five stars for the whole experience! Rachael couldn't have been more helpful, generous and accommodating. The whole family from aged 1 to 10 yrs had a great time. There was plenty to do a mere stone's throw away in the Sherwood Forest. In the house were games that we didn't have a chance to play with, an enormous TV screen with Netflix etc and the 1 year old spent happy hours playing with Duplo that's in the fulsome box. The House lends itself perfectly to an extended family like ours to stay together under one roof: Comfortable bedrooms, a well supplied kitchen with every pan & utensil needed to cater for the whole family. Any food or items such as nappies, can be found in the well-stocked local shop across the road or in the Co-op, a tiny walk further away. It's geographically the perfect central spot for a scattered family like ours and having 'done' Go Ape and the Clumber National Trust property, we hope to come back to explore further!

My niece said it was the best house she had ever been to, she is 21. I am 30 years older and find it hard to disagree. It is a beautiful place in a lovely village and Katheryn could not have done anything more to help us and feel welcoming. The warm scones on arrival, the local knowledge and the tour of the Mill. I can only give 5 stars on this review, but if I could I would add another 20 at least. Truly wonderful.

Fantastic one night stay in a lovely cabin in the woods, excellent host with excellent communication and a lovely welcome basket which was much appreciated when we got there.
