We stayed with 3 adults and two toddlers and the space was completely sufficient. There was also enough board game material available on rainy days and the children still got a lot of painting utensils from Marieke. The kids were very happy about that. Outside in the garden it was very idyllic and in the summer it was certainly nice to sit outside by the pond comfortably in the evening. The house was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped. we lacked nothing. The communication with Marieke was great. She was always very accessible and proactively suggested activities. All around a very successful week :) Thank you very much for that.

Perfect place to stay if you enjoy the beautiful, quiet surroundings of the Beetsterzwaag forest. Great for a family of 4 with small children. There’s a playground across the street with an animal farm. The supermarket is within walking distance (10 min)., And you are literally around the corner from biking and walking trails. And, only 30 mins away from a city like Groningen or about 1h from the Wadden sea coast. The hosts are warm, friendly and very helpful.

We, 2 adults & 2 boys aged 7 and 11, felt comfortable directly in the accommodation. It was super clean and lovingly furnished. Everything we needed was there. Both the terrace by the house and the terrace by the water invite you to wonderfully cozy hours. In the park itself, the children could ride their scooters, jump on the trampoline, swim in the indoor pool or ride a pedal boat. Janna and Christof are great hosts who responded immediately and were friendly, helpful and accommodating at all times.

We were with 3 adults for 3 nights in the beautiful bungalow and had also booked the wellness package with sauna and hot tub for an extra charge, which we did not regret. :-) The location of the bungalow right on the edge of the forest was just perfect, nice and quiet and in the middle of nature. Messages and questions were answered directly and quickly and further assistance was provided. We had to know in advance that there is not much to see in the immediate vicinity and therefore packed our bicycles, otherwise you can reach everything else in just under 10 minutes by car. For families with children, the Capfun campsite with swimming pool, large sandy beach, indoor playground and much more is right next door.

What is the house in a unique location! It is very clean and cozy. It's great to be able to walk right into nature. It's also nice that there are two terraces, so you have more opportunities to sit outside sheltered.

Had a very nice stay in the holiday home at the Friese Wadden holiday park. We were at the Women's Fair in Leeuwarden, so after working hours we were able to relax in the house. Also nice beds and everything was clean. The tranquility and views were fantastic. We will definitely come back.

Last weekend I had an unforgettable stay with friends in a beautiful house surrounded by nature. The house was spacious and comfortable, ideal for our group. The area offered plenty of opportunities for relaxation and adventure, with beautiful walks and a visit to a charming village. It was a perfect weekend to enjoy and recharge together, and we look forward to coming back again.

Nice cottage, very clean and complete. Lots to do in the area, well worth it. Host was very helpful and quick to respond if we had a question.

This was the sweetest and most charming Airbnb hostel we've ever had. There was so much personality, so much spirit from Kitty and Erik in every room, every object, that we liked very much. Obviously flea market goers with an eye for something special - just like us! Everything very clean, with even everything on site to make a hearty first breakfast and more. The staircase up is very steep, but well secured, and even our 70-year-old joints quickly got the hang of it. We enjoyed these days very much and it was like coming home every time. We had a lovely stay in this clean and cozy house. The beds are lovely and there is beautiful art. My friend (friend writes text) asked me to marry at the lighthouse during our stay, that of course makes this stay extra special! Recommended! Also super close to bakery, bus and dunes :)

We were warmly welcomed by Karolien. The house was spacious and equipped with all the comforts. A pleasant quiet area. If we had any questions Karolien responded immediately and communicated in a pleasant way. Very satisfied.

It was a few wonderful days in East Frisia. The accommodation is very quietly located on the dike, about 15 minutes by car to Norddeich. The apartment was super clean and well thought out. The garden was extensively played in by the children and the garage has enough space to offer for bicycles and our trailer. We say thank you for the great time.

The place was very nice and well maintained, we felt right at home! In the house everything was available...from baking paper, Zewa, etc. to Maggi, the kitchen was well equipped. The hostess Patricia was very friendly and helpful. The location is nice and quiet with direct views of the water... Everything worked out and we can only recommend the place!

Great and charming house in beautiful surroundings. Nice hiking areas. Short distance to several cozy cities. Convenient kitchen for cooking cooking. Quiet and peaceful at night, we slept well. Plenty of room for everyone in sofa area for evening fun. Nice garden and birdsong.

Beautiful Spacious Warm

We felt super comfortable in Paul's house! Great house for 8 people, as you have 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms plus a separate toilet. All windows have fly screens, which is very convenient. Very nice garden and terrace, everything very clean. The kitchen is totally well equipped, we didn't miss anything! Very quiet location, but the nearest town with a supermarket is not too far away. The swimming area/sailboat are across the street, but that didn't bother us. We definitely want to come back 😊

This quirky cottage is very well equipped, full of character and set in a beautiful and tranquil location. The local town of Oldberg offers a supermarket, bakery and chemist shop plus a couple of café/restaurants and the cottage is close enough to the major routes so as to offer easy access to larger settlements such as Zwolle and Heerenveen. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend the property to those seeking a bit of peace and quiet in pleasant surroundings.

We were surprised by the large of the house. 3 large bedrooms, where the curtains unfortunately let a lot of light through. Nice spacious living room and dining table. We just missed some mirrors. 1 mirror on the bathroom for in my case 6 women is really too little. Should have hung a mirror in the bedrooms. But price technically definitely very interesting and highly recommended.

beautiful historic house in the heart of downtown, finely and tastefully furnished, everything as described, excellent cleanliness and excellent check-in experience. The surroundings are very tidy and quiet, a true oasis of tranquility. Excellent communication with the host, really recommended

We had a very relaxing stay with six plus dog. The location of the house is very quiet and really beautiful - several times we were lucky enough to admire an enchanting sunset over the lake. Within walking distance, we were several times at the small harbor and were able to relax there. Several small villages are easily accessible by bike, by car we were in various places of the IJsselmeer and in Sneek - all super cute! The house itself is spacious and optimally divided with a ground floor bedroom with its own bathroom but separate toilet that can be used by everyone. The kitchen is well equipped, although we would have liked a regular coffee machine in addition. The combination oven/microwave is super convenient. Big compliment too😉: Finally an apartment with enough hangers!

We had wonderful days! A very comfortable cottage that was not lacking, in a very quiet area, in the middle of the meadow. A short distance from Leeuwarden. Very friendly owners. Highly recommended!

We spent a wonderful week at Aagje in Een-West. Beautiful spacious house with a lovely garden. Good beds. We met wonderfully sunny weather. Since it is still early in the year, it was also wonderful to sit in the igloo greenhouse at the end of the afternoon;where it was warmed up by the sun. Aagje is a very sweet hostess;cheerful,interested and always willing to give information about the beautiful surroundings. Henk is a very friendly host and "De kleine walvis" is a beautiful and well-equipped accommodation. This was our second time here and, as always, we felt very comfortable. Thanks to the good weather, we were also able to use the outdoor area. The location is perfect for a quick trip to the beach with the kids. We'd love to come back!
