Gipsea is a 46 foot yacht built in Tahiti in the late 70's. She has sailed extensively the South Pacific before she found her new home in Fiji. She recently underwent an extensive refit to host you in style. Do not expect a 5 star luxury yacht, she is a comfortable, rustic and purpose built charter yacht for tropical waters. Gipsea can only be used for accomodation puposes by Airbnb guests.
“I have nothing but super positive things to say about Luc, the crew of the boat (Seini, Poni and Dals) and our time on the boat. :) We took the suggestion of going on the sailing trip and booked it for 6 days around the islands. Plan was to go all the way up to the Yasawas. Unfortunately, we got very unlucky due to an incoming cyclone. Luc and the crew however were super informative, keeping us posted daily on the cyclone that was due to come and planned our route as to maximize the time on the boat. We had to cut the trip few days short and return back to Nadi, but Luc helped us with everything from finding a place to stay, to what to expect during the cyclone. We were slightly concerned on how 6 of us (3 couples) and 3 crew would manage to stay in a boat together, in terms of privacy. We were aware that it could be difficult, as in the end, it was a sailing boat we are staying in. Though it magically worked super smooth. The crew were incredibly good at giving us space and privacy, but also around for a chat when we felt like it. We always had food in offer, even before craving for it. Seini’s cooking was incredible, still don’t understand how she cooked 3 meals and snacks (eg fruit platters) for 9 people in the tiny kitchen and it always came out so amazingly yummy! Probably will stay a mystery... The cyclone turned out to be lucky as my friend was hospitalized due to a previous injury. Luc helped us a lot with finding medical care and kept in touch with us for a whole week after our stay to make sure everything was OK and we didn’t need anything. We we’re concerned about food beforehand as some of us can’t eat meat, one was vegan and two of us are full-time athletes. So we wanted to make sure the diet was good and we got enough food. We shouldn’t have ever been concerned. We mentioned our needs to Luc before arrival, and we had everything we need, and it all tasted so good! Snorkeling spots we went to were great, we even did a bonfire on the beach one night. Only sad thing about our trip was that we didn’t get to stay longer... would have really wanted to head up to Yasawas. Probably worth keeping in mind that it is super hot in Fiji, even at night. So sleeping can be hard, but there is always the option of sleeping outside. Overall, I really can’t recommend this trip enough. We had a very nice time, wish it had lasted longer.. Thanks to Luc, Seini, Dals and Poni our captain.”
COZY LUXURY! You'll love this property because its a newly built modern home with a very natural beach / tropical feel to it. It has everything you'd expect in an upmarket executive home, from the latest in appliances and electronics with a fully equipped kitchen, to luxury bed linens and down pillows. CENTRAL LOCATION! 5-10 mins from the Airport. You are walking distance from the Martintar strip, where you'll find cafes, restaurants, bars, video shops, gas station, supermarkets and more.
“Gorgeous house, full of amenities and a fully equipped kitchen. I was stranded in Fiji for quite some time and this place was such a great stay, definitely recommend it. Also fairly close to some really good restaurants, supermarket is a bit further the road. Wifi would disconnect sometimes or get slow but I guess that’s the provider’s fault. Overall really good experience!”
A private room only 2 minutes away from nadi international airport and just a few minutes away from town. Located in a very convenient area, within walking distance to supermarkets and transport services. Friendly host family. meals included.
“Malti and her husband are the great host in the world! The location close to airport and surround by supermarket pharmacy restaurant. She did excellent cooking everyday. And they treat their guests as part of their family, which make me feel comfortable to stay there. Highly recommended to everyone who visiting Nadi !”
