Vacation rentals with a fire pit in LaPorte County

Great size house, area close to everything and amazing communication! Had a partial power outage when staying and owners answered promptly and were attentive and super helpful. Would definitely stay again!

We all walked in and said WOW! It was beautiful and had so much charm. We have stayed in many rentals and this was by far the cleanest and most organized. We traveled with 3 couples and there was plenty of room to gather and socialize and room to just chill by yourself. The boardwalk made for a wonderful morning walk. Brittany was a terrific host answering any questions I had and providing a list of thing to do in the area. Certainly worth the money! We would definitely stay again. Rita

This is such a cute little house with the best host. Michela makes you feel right at home and goes the extra mile. She had great recommendation for local highlights and the house was well stocked. All the little details were appreciated.

We loved staying at Katrina’s place! It was very comfortable, clean and uncluttered. We felt right at home the minute we walked through the door. New Buffalo was a short drive away so had a nice dinner at the Stray Dog. We loved spending time down at the beach and then coming home to grill some steaks. Katrina was very helpful and super communicative during our stay! Thank you for a wonderful weekend away!!

My wife, our dog and I stayed at the farmhouse for a long weekend to relax away from the city. It was the perfect country escape- peaceful, tranquil and still a quick drive to everything we wanted to explore. We mostly went to New Buffalo for restaurants and kayaking, and to the Indiana Dunes for hiking. The farmhouse was tastefully decorated with upscale amenities (like the coffee maker we decided to purchase when we got home). Mornings were spent reading on the screened in porch, listening to the birds and watching the chickens outside. There’s plenty of seating if you have a larger group, with tables inside and outside for meals. Stefanie was a wonderful host, her guidebook has great recommendations of things to do in the area and she gave very helpful instructions for the house. We definitely hope to return sometime as it’s so close to Chicago! Perfect weekend trip.

I was looking for a cozy spot with a jacuzzi for a weekend celebration for my husband’s birthday and it was so much more than that. Carlo was super helpful with recommendations and quick to respond back. Such a great area to walk around and explore. We loved staying here and are looking to book later again this year!

Jen’s loft was a 10 out of 10! An unusual but creative idea to put an Airbnb in an antique store, out in the country down a very quiet road. Loved it! The setup and design was impressive and she definitely has the knack of decorating to make you feel at home. Up the steps to the loft there is an open living room/bedroom that has a very comfortable king size bed and the bathroom has a nice size shower and soft water. There is a small frig and coffee maker in the loft but also a full size kitchen downstairs. Everything you need! We enjoyed a walk on her property past the flower garden out to the pond. Plenty of wildlife to see, Sandhill cranes and deer along with all their rescue animals. Her antique store is outstanding, the way she displays all her items, so much fun shopping there! She and her parents are super nice people and awesome hosts!

Lisa was an amazing host! The location was great right on the lake and the space had everything we needed. I highly recommend staying with her!

My wife and I stayed with our 4 kids aged 2-10. The house was great, the neighborhood was great, the beach within walking distance was great. We also had a good time using the yard toys in the shed and the outdoor picnic tables with our family that came over to dinner. We'd book here again.

I booked this for a work trip for a couple guys. Great feedback and the hosts answer within minutes!! Only thing is the towels are a little dirty or stained rather and my guys did mention that. other than that the place was very clean, good area and quiet. Thank you!

We had a fabulous time! It was the perfect spot for a quiet and peaceful getaway. Patti was so kind and responsive - a perfect host. There were many spots to sit and enjoy the view. We loved the fire pit and were so grateful that it was all set and ready to use. I could go on and on about how wonderful it was. We highly recommend it!!! We will definitely be back!

such a lovely stay! not far from my home but wanted a secluded, quiet getaway and that’s exactly what I got. I assume the other homes will be occupied in the summer but I was the only one in the community, it seemed, during my 4 day stay and it was so quiet and serene. definitely will consider going back again when the weather is nicer! clean home, had everything I needed. would recommend 🤍

Cabin in Knox, IN was a perfect getaway for my father & son. We had a great time connecting grandpa & grandson. Plenty to do with wildlife near by, fishing, campfire, and of course time to relax. We had our pet Duke with us, and it is perfect for a dog to also relax and get some fresh country air. Highly recommended for a private getaway.

The cabin had a cozy and comfortable feel from the inside and out. The cabin was located on a side street, and overall, Michiana Shores was so quiet and peaceful. The backyard firepit was an added bonus for smores nights and enjoying the cooler weather near the lake. We loved having access to the lake with the 8 minute walk to and from the beach a few visits as well (along with beach chairs and sand toys for the kids). The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils and dishware (even with smores sticks for the fire) and knives (that were actually sharpened unlike many Air B&Bs we have rented) as we cooked in often for meals. When we discovered that the microwave wasn't working our first night, Ralph replaced it within a couple of hours of notifying him of the problem the next day. We loved the location for traveling along the shoreline of the Indiana Sand Dunes and the state and national park areas. A great stay for our family of four!

Wonderful cabin and location. Great experience. Met our daughter and friend who live in Chicago for the holiday weekend. They could have taken the train an met us. If you like horses, this is also a great place. Nice walk to the beach.
