The perfect spot for a relaxing long weekend. Very peaceful and quaint location and the cottage was very clean and comfortable. The summerhouse by the stream was a real treat in the sunshine. The hosts were great, super friendly and accommodating.

We were looking for a place to escape for NYE as we wanted somewhere in the country and quiet! Elaine’s annex was excellent, clean, and as described! Would recommend 😊

We had a fantastic 3-day escape here with our very enthusiastic dog Layla, who wasted no time claiming the garden as her royal domain. The cottage was warm, welcoming, and full of character, and the sauna was the ultimate treat. There’s nothing quite like a good steam after a long countryside walk! The location was spot on: peaceful yet perfectly placed for all the sights we wanted to explore. We didn’t get around to using the fire stove or the barbecue, but just knowing they were there made the place feel even more special. Definitely something to enjoy next time! If you’re heading out, don’t miss a visit to Wells-next-the-Sea—gorgeous views and the pizza at Flour is nothing short of life-changing. We’re still talking about it. All in all, a perfect getaway. We walked, laughed, relaxed and now we are fully convinced that saunas should be standard in every home. We’ll absolutely be back!

I can’t recommend this idyllic retreat highly enough! From the warm welcome upon our arrival when we were met by the drive and then the walk through the beautiful garden to the accommodation. The studio was perfect, the seating area ideal for cosy evenings in and breakfast. The bed was very comfy, the little kitchen cleverly laid out and with everything we needed. Alison and Sandy showed us round the studio, showing us what we needed to know regarding heating controls, tv remotes etc. As for the breakfast provisions, what a delicious array of choices for us to put together for morning repast and not forgetting the tasty croissants! After a hectic few months our stay here was just the peaceful and quiet tonic our spirits longed for. The location is ideal for exploring the North Norfolk coast and as we have fallen for the area we will be back at Chapel Piece soon again! Many thanks and lovely to meet you both!
