Perfect little getaway! The cottage is charming and full of character. The location is fantastic, within easy walking distance to everything you need. Cerian provided helpful advice about both the local area and the cottage, making our stay even smoother. She was very accommodating to me and my partner, and communication was a breeze. Highly recommend this place, and we can't wait to return!

Sarah was extremely welcoming and very friendly. The place was just as described and perfect for our ‘shut the world out’ weekend. We didn’t leave the place but it was explained there were 2 dogs on site that were very friendly!! Out of the window were beautiful views but cannot comment further! Everything was straightforward and easy to work, thanks for having us!!

lovely place, just be aware that you are within gardens which are open to the public and as such, any outdoor space is not private. having a car is a must. other than that it is beautiful and very homey. we stayed for 4 nights and it had everything we needed.

A beautifully presented property with extremely comfortable beds! The surroundings were lovely, set in Gussy's family small holding. The hosts were lovely and extremely helpful even taking us to the wedding we were attending free of charge! We would definitely stay again!! Many thanks for a great stay and for the rhubarb!

Rob's place was great! it was really close to the zoo and walking distance to pubs and supermarkets so you could cook your own food! Rob was rwally friendly and accomodating 😊

Nicola is really friendly and helpful, the location is stunning. The property is lovely and although with in the grounds of the main house you really feel like you have a private dwelling ! Would 100% recommend. Thanks for being a great host Nicola.

We had a really relaxing stay at Sarah's place for my husband's 40th. We loved the gym especially getting to try the Peleton bike and was nice to chill in the spa afterwards, having all of those lovely facilities to ourselves made it an extra special stay. The apartment itself was super cosy, well equipped and my husband enjoyed the extra snacks provided! We also had a delicious meal at the White Hart Inn on Mersea Island. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere a bit different for a special occasion and I hope to maybe come back and try one of the spa days which also sound fab. Thank you!
