Picture yourself enjoying breakfast or grilling the trout you caught that morning on the Deck watching Rafters and Fishing Boats drift by. This Cabin was built in the early 1940's. While we have preserved its original charm, we have made the necessary updates for your comfort. For those who need internet access we now have WIFI for your convenience.
“The view here is incredible! Everything we needed for a fun trip was provided, games, books, a few movies, kitchen supplies, and a very nifty guide book with local restaurants, hiking trails, and activities. I would recommend grabbing groceries on the way in because the store is a little bit of a drive. It is right on the highway, so the cars are a little loud at night, but it’s nice falling asleep to the sound of the river. Overall, it was a really nice place to stay and would love to come back!”

“This place is a bit of heaven. Descending the steps into a gorgeous lush forest and garden (including a fairy house and Japanese garden with bridge) was like entering a fantasy world. The place is gorgeous inside and out - the outside features a deck with hot tub and giant hammock as well as a table for dining and chairs for visiting (and lovely party lights at night). The inside is huge, spacious, FILLED with books (yay for book nerds) as well as a large screen TV and comfy sectional couch. The bed is super wide and comfortable. There's a little dining nook, a Keurig for coffee and even an Alexa to request your favorite music. I had a really hard time tearing myself away at check-out time. I will most definitely be back!”

“This is our third summer trip to Marshall and Katja's farm. Our kids look forward to this each summer (even though we had to skip last year with a new baby). The place is simple and clean. It doesn't have bells and whistles but they are simply not needed. We come each year to get away from the hustle and bustle of suburban life and for the kids to run wild on the farm. The hosts take the greatest time and care with their organic farm and love to share it with their visitors. The kids got to help being involved an in the farm with bringing in the animals (holding the baby goats to bring them up the trail was their favorite), milking the cows and feeding and holding the baby bunnies. Katja also is so great about telling the kids what she's doing and why. It's a hidden gem! The composting toilet gets some getting used to with little kids but not a big deal at all. The hosts and the location are a wonderful stay and experience that we hope to continue for years to come!”
