Vacation rentals with a patio in Lanark County

We want to thank Emily for being so accommodating and welcoming. We needed some additional accommodations for guests at our daughter’s wedding and this place was perfect! So close to our venue and they loved staying there. Thank you so much!

This is a very nice place to go, clean and you will find all the kitchen's basics.

Very nice place. Very clean and comfortable. It has everything you need for a short stay. We had to visit Ottawa to attend Tulip festival and go to Brockville to visit 1,000 islands. Glenda's place was perfect for us as it was between the two locations. Lake view is good and fire pit is an additional bonus but unfortunately we couldn't use it due to shortage of time and rain. Glenda is a very caring host as she kept checking if we were fine. On the very first day the basement apartment was cold but as we started the indoor fireplace, it was fine. The only drawback is no grocery store nearby. Little bit of noise when the dog runs on the upper floor. However, very good experience overall.

They’re the kind of people you feel lucky to have met – gracious, thoughtful, and genuinely good-hearted. If you're looking for a place that feels more like staying with friends than a rental, this is it. We left with full hearts and will absolutely be back.

This is a wonderful place. The apartment is exceptionally clean and offers excellent privacy with its entrance and personal space. It is worth the money. I've already rented it twice, and I will continue to do so whenever I visit the town.

A lovely place to stay in Gatineau, we had a wonderful time, and everything was super convenient from check-in to location and access to shops, eateries, etc. Loved that it was so close to the water, in a quiet neighbourhood. Would recommend for short or long stay! Thank you Rebecca.

As this is a new purchase and listing, the place exceeded expectations. There is a lovely outdoor setup that is currently not shown in the pictures, which Diana needs to include, as the backyard is generous and set up for some serious RnR. Easy walking distance to the quaint downtown area of Carlton Place and easy access to the highway. The shower is bigger than it appears in the pictures, and Diana was very generous in providing fruit, bread, cereal and peanut butter, something you rarely see anymore in Airbnb locations. About the only negative for longer stays would be that there is no washer and dryer, though we weren't there long enough to learn if there is access. Highly recommend if staying in this area.

We absolutely loved this place! My friends and I were pleasantly surprised to see how the host had transformed a garage into such a beautiful and cozy space. There were tons of games to keep us entertained, and we really enjoyed the bathtub, swimming pool, and the overall cleanliness of the entire place. The kitchen was a standout — super well-equipped and a joy to use. The host was also very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this spot for a fun and relaxing getaway!

The place was great for a family weekend away. It was very clean and tidy. The direct access to the waterfront is fantastic and a great place to relax.

My family and I stayed for the May Long weekend. The place had gorgeous views, great amenities and a welcoming atmosphere. Communication with the hosts was easy, and they made us feel very welcome. The organization is evident, with a QR code leading you to a guidebook and easy info for wifi access. We loved fishing off the dock, the gorgeous fireplace in the main living room, and a stunning loft where I could work on my novel. There is a varied bookcase full of select authors from several genres. I will definitely consider coming back soon! The place is close to both Perth and Smith Falls, so there are plenty of options for day travel for those who love local shops. Be mindful that the area is woody and rural, so frequent tick checks/ mosquito repellent is a must!

From the moment I inquired about their house, they were very responsive and accommodating to our needs. We had a prolonged stay to watch World Juniors hockey and had two families staying at the house. It was great that the basement had two bedrooms and a full bath with their own living room. It helps to have your own space sometimes! Every amenity and kitchen tool you can think of was available. The hot tub was a great addition after we booked! Everything was clean when we got there and very easy to checkin. The craft room was a great feature! There was a great selection of games to choose from as well! Would highly recommend staying here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

This was my very first experience booking an Airbnb and it was beyond my expectations not only was Wayne our host and of course his lovely wife more then kind and generous, but the whole journey from the beginning to the end was amazing! The house is so very beautiful and well kept! I thank you Wayne and Rita for treating my self and my family with warmth and kindness! We sure hope to be back there again if you will have us! By way of background, not only have we lived in the area in the past, but we have stayed in numerous Kanata/Stittsville Airbnbs. Overall we have been pretty uniformly disappointed. So fed up with getting six plates, cups and glasses, and one or two pots/pans stocked for a three bedroom home furished with the most basic of furniture possible. This house however, was exceptional. Not only was the house very comfortable but the host was generous in stocking well beyond basics. This is especially true for the kitchen which was as well equipped as my own- and I like to cook. It felt more like a sister letting you use her very spacious and clean house for a week than a rental. I cannot recommend this home enough. If you want a quiet, supremely comfortable and convenient family stay, I sincerely believe you cannot do better than this house/host in the Ottawa west, Kanata, Stittsville area.
