The Lakewood Lodge and Restaurant is a historic country inn in the northern Poconos. We offer a mix of rooms, all with private baths, some with private entrances that are pet friendly. We have affiliated offsite, lake front cottages (listed separately). Able to accommodate overnight guest groups from 2 to 45, we are a great destination for reuniting friends and families, nightly and extended stay business lodging, weddings, birthdays and other celebrations/reunions.
“Jim was very friendly and attentive host. Check-in and check-out process was very easy. Room was clean! It was in reasonable price as well! If anyone wants to spend a night to go skiing in Elk Mountain which is in 20 min drive, I highly recommend this place!”
The cabin is located on a dirt road on our farm, and can accommodate two guests adventurous enough for "camping." This one-room cabin has two twin beds, a chair and ottoman, solar powered lights, a wood stove, mini-kitchen with a gas range and kitchen sink, an open-air outdoor shower, and an old-fashioned outhouse. Please note: No bathroom! The kitchen sink and outdoor shower runs cold, spring-fed water May-Oct. only. We have a 5-gallon dispenser for drinking water!
“Nancy's cabin is a wonderful place to see the fall foliage! It's the perfect fall getaway! Fantastic wood burning stove and large fire pit. We rent this cabin often and love coming back! The views are spectacular! It's so much fun feeding the fish, building a fire, and gazing at the stars. We love that the cabin is on a working farm. It's a very special place and experience. You see cows grazing in the distance, bales of hay, beautiful corn fields, and lovely barns. The land and views are absolutely gorgeous! The cabin has so many special touches board games, very comfortable and warm linens, great grille and stove, and a really cool porch. It's THE perfect Catskills cabin for so many reasons! Thank you, Nancy! We'll be back!!”
Listen to the cascading waterfall from your bedroom window in renovated two bedroom cabin. Hike the 109 acres. Explore the waterfall. 50/50 forest and open fields. Enjoy a campfire under the stars. A great romantic and/or peaceful getaway.
“I only want to give this place a bad review so no one else finds out about this magical place! The cabin is fully stocked to make it feel like home. Benjamin at the top of the hill is a sweetie. The waterfall & property is truly amazing. Deer, rabbits and gophers on the property living their best life. Dennis responds with any questions. We chose this place to escape the riots in Philly, I cried when we left because I didn’t want to leave. It was so peaceful & just what we were looking for.”
