Lake house vacation rentals in Lake Whatcom

Ten of us ladies stayed here for a relaxing girls weekend. It was perfect. There were few issues with getting upstairs propane stove to work, but the downstairs one worked just fine. We had to buy more TP & kitchen garbage bags for the house since we couldn’t find anymore, but still worth it. Overall it was a fabulous stay with a fabulous view!

BEAUTIFUL! Jan’s place was wonderful. It was clean, cozy and welcoming. It was stocked with everything you need and I was pleasantly surprised by the coffee and creamer stash! I also enjoyed the available computer monitor and desk area, unfortunately I had school work to do but the second screen came in handy.

Home was beautiful, in a beautiful location. We felt very safe there. They had plenty of supplies and fun things to do. Thanks!

Absolute perfection. Beautiful, clean. Had everything we needed. Close to activities. Would absolutely stay here again. The view is unbelievable.

Our stay was perfect! Travis’ place was just as described and meet our expectations. The views were breathtaking. It was amazing to witness the wildlife up close and personal. We would definitely recommend to our friends and family.

Best air bnb experience so far. Even better than the pictures. Spotless interior and incredible views and amenities outside. The best part was Amy. She was incredibly communicative, offered great recommendations, and was quick to respond to inquiries. As ready as we were to get home, it was tough to leave.

This home was incredible! From booking to answering questions to proactively checking in, this host was top notch. The surroundings are gorgeous, the home is private, and the view is stunning! We came here for a romantic getaway and we will definitely be back!

We had a girls weekend to see the tulip farms. It was easy to get in and out of - the lake views were amazing and the house was relaxing. The hot tub photos in the previous listing made it look bigger than it was. But it served the purpose. And maybe in the time future it could get upgraded as that would be a huge advantage with the views of the lake and house where it sits. Great spot, easy access, responsive host. We had a great time.

Then house was secluded enought to feel car away but only a quick 10 minute drive from the main town. Rick was super communicative and checked in to ensure everything was OK. We enjoyed our stay!

Excellent, short family stay. Cottage had everything we needed, even stuff not described in listing. Neighborhood is lovely and quiet and safe. Shared amenities, pool, etc are excellent, including a brilliant toddlers playroom which isn’t mentioned anywhere but is a saviour on a rainy day. Helpful host. Would recommend and stay again.

The home is amazing! The scenery is outstanding! I loved feeding the deer!

This was my 2nd stay at Eves place and it was just as great as I remembered it to be ! Beautiful property with tons of space for both inside and outside the house ! Being right on the lake with kayaks provided was our favorite part and I’d say ! Highly recommend this property as it has a great host and this stay provides a getaway experience which is something we all need sometimes

This place was beautiful! It was so peaceful and quiet. The home had a vintage, but updated feel. It was very clean and everything was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking in this area and would go back! This is a great spot with a great host!

This Airbnb was hands down the nicest and most beautiful Airbnb we've ever stayed in. My sisters and I (along with our kiddos) get together every April back home in Skagit/Whatcom for the tulip festival and it was the perfect location to all stay together. The house was absolute perfection! We loved the decor and the views and the deck. The kitchen had everything you could think of - Thank you for the assortment of coffees! There was plenty of room for us all to spread out and it was nice to cook and eat big meals together and play some board games. The beds were also so comfortable and it was convenient to have so many bathrooms. Sudden Valley is such a gorgeous little community on Lake Whatcom, I already miss all of the green moss and ferns and mountain and lake backdrops. Thank you for a peaceful and relaxing spot to stay, we would definitely love to come back!

We loved our stay at Devins house. Beautiful surroundings, spacious and comfortable. We felt right at home our entire stay.

Ann and Lorne were wonderful hosts! The suite was lovely and spacious, noise through the floor from the upper level was minimal and the space was cozy and felt like home for my stay. They were extremely kind and thoughtful and made sure I had everything I needed for my stay. Overall wonderful experience, will absolutely stay with them again!

Perfect stay for us! It was close to the beach for a sunset walk, had a peaceful neighborhood and close to town for dinner and breakfast. Great space and comfortable! Would stay here again for sure.

This was easily one of the best airbnbs I've stayed at. the house is a large and cozy. The kitchen is stocked with all the essentials. And there are lots of games, books, an arcade, and theater room for entertainment. Jessica was super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Absolutely perfect. we booked the beach house for the long weekend and came with a bunch of groceries. the kitchen is very well stocked with just about everything you need and we cooked all our meals on the bbq. we also brought some firewood to make a fire on the beach and cooked some steaks. the views are amazing and the space is super cozy, comfortable, and clean. It was also very quiet and we didn't see much people on the beach or have to deal with crowds.

I typically only give 5 star reviews or don’t give them at all. The problem with this self-imposed rating inflation is that you have trouble differentiating houses that stand out. So I’ll rate Erika’s place 5.5 stars. The home is spacious, well-equipped (including for toddlers), and beautifully located in a quiet, green neighborhood close to lakes Whatcom and Louise (AM / PM beach was serene in the morning). Also, the house is beautifully decorated, just a beautiful palate and aesthetics - I took away many ideas for a future home of my own. Thank you for a lovely stay. We’ll request to stay again when we’re in the area next.

We were in the area for a wedding and I needed to procure a house with enough bedrooms for 5 of my visiting family. This house was perfect! The kitchen was big and equipped to make meals. The view was beyond spectacular! The host & hostess of this house were very nice & communicated regularly. We would definitely get this house again.

Our stay at the Treetop Home exceeded all expectations. The location was absolutely perfect, with breathtaking views from every room in the house. The home itself was spotless, thoughtfully stocked, and had everything we needed—and more. After our daily hikes and island explorations, it was the perfect oasis to return to. We felt truly at home from the moment we arrived. We will most definitely be returning to a Stay and Sea property managed by Ashley & Brittany—if not this home again, then one of their beautiful waterfront options. Thank you for creating such a warm, welcoming space. It made all the difference!

Sherri's house was a treat for my group of friends looking for some quality r&r on Island time. Surrounded by lush forrest and incredible views, we felt far, far away from the hustle and bustle of our city lifestyle. The living room was a perfect gathering space to come together comfortably even for our large group. The sofas and chairs were relaxing and the kitchen provided a perfect spot for the group to make meals together and it never felt crowded. Outside the house we were able to access Moran State park quickly and easily, and when we needed to grab groceries, and rent bikes, East Sound was less than a 10min. drive away. Would highly recommend to all, and will definitely be planning our return soon.
