Cabin vacation rentals in Lake Saint Peter

We had a great time at Heather's place. The cottage was decorated beautifully. We love the hot tub and the backyard lighting around it. Everything was set up with a timer and it's pretty good for us to not have to worry about it. It's so good to have two firepits and the supplies to start the fire. The local convenient store is a short drive and has everything we need when we ran out of supplies. Coffee, hot chocolate, tea and all the snacks are nice treats. It is very cozy and the surrounding is gorgeous. The heater in the house can be quite annoying at night for someone staying on the daybed. We were warned about the noise in the instructions but couldn't do much about it or change the sleeping arrangement. The beds in all rooms are all very comfortable and if the heater issue can be somehow addressed, that would be much better. (the heater just turns on and off way too frequently) Overall, we had a great time! Heather and Michael are very friendly and responsive hosts. Thank you!

Wonderful stay in lovely new accommodations. Personal hot tub was lovely on a snowy night. Sauna was a unique experience as well. Everything needed was there. Warm and cosy. Cute little town close to grocery store and restaurant.

We are so happy that we found this gem! Private and peaceful, beautiful surroundings with the winter snow. We had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The sauna was excellent. Cassidy is an amazing host, very responsive and has thought of everything. We are looking forward to another getaway at Kabin Bjorn!

Wanda was super accommodating and helpful. Even the fire was stoked prior to getting there. We were there during a snowstorm, and there was a plow service that cleaned up the drive for us right after. The property was beautiful and the walking trails were nice as well. Even had a run in with an Owl! Highly recommend for a get away.

A beautiful cozy cabin! We had an amazing time over the holidays at Diane’s. The cabin is cozy and clean! Rooms were spacious and there are great amenities. We enjoyed the ping pong and darts in the basement, and also spent time in the hot tub and sauna. The hosts also decorated for us since we stayed over Christmas. There was a Christmas tree, lights, and decorations throughout the house which we all thought was a very nice touch and so thoughtful. Diane is very responsive and friendly. Clear instructions were sent for checking in and before check out! I highly recommend booking this cabin! It was an amazing stay.

We stayed at the Skoot Cabin from Dec 26-30 with our dog and friend from New York. Everyone had an easy time getting to the place and getting in. Once inside, it was really hard to want to leave such a cozy space in the winter. The wood burning stove was an absolute highlight and kept us warm throughout the stay. The place itself had everything we needed and the area around the cabin was perfect for our dog to explore and run around. Kate was super helpful and responsive and provided us with all the info on the place. Can’t say enough good things about this cabin and location and our friend was very impressed with this Canadian experience! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

We all had a great time at Christie’s Cottage. We spent most of our time at the lake because of the view and water activities that you can do there. Also, Christie is easy to communicate and answer all my questions promptly. A real cottage experience! We will be back for longer stay!

Our second stay at Nicks retreat, just as great as the first time! 40 mins drive to Algonquin park, cute bakery and shops in maynooth and a large yard for a full game of football

My family stayed at Natasha’s place for a few nights and we really enjoyed the clean cottage and quiet surroundings. The road is quiet and nice for a walk with the dogs and the location is central to all the fun things to do locally. The cottage is clean and calm.

The place is wonderful and Edvard was available for all our queries. It was a pleasant and memorable experience for me and my family!

We absolutely loved staying at Frank and Sarah's place. it was incredibly charming with lots of wonderful nature. There's a beautiful view of both the sunrise and sunset from the house. The kitchen is well stocked, the sauna is great for the winter and the beautiful decorations and design really make it feel homey!

The location was beautiful. We came to celebrate the new year with family. The house so so warm and cozy. Would highly recommend staying here.

Peter is a very kind and an understanding host. Extremely responsive and takes pride in what he does. The place is clean and has all the essentials you would need. We stayed for 2 nights while we were hiking at the Algonquin park and we did not want to camp outside, so it perfectly fit our needs. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful and restorative short stay. Everything was spotless and smelled of wood. It was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped. The cabin is located in a beautiful meadow and we felt as though we escaped into a quiet and peaceful world. We loved the trails too. Megan was a wonderful host who welcomed us warmly and had a welcoming bonfire going for us.

The hosts were very responsive and their place was clean and cozy right beside the lake. We enjoyed using their kayak for water activities. Bonus for being a super dog friendly place where friendly puppers are able to roam free. Many thanks especially to Mike who patiently showed us around and also shared with us his tips and knowledge about the area. He was very considerate and asked if we were ok with the noise level, otherwise he could move us to another area as another group was having a party. We were totally fine with it as it was still early in the evening but appreciated his kind gesture and going the extra mile to make sure we had a comfortable stay. Made many wonderful memories on this trip and hope to return again someday! Thank you for being such great hosts!

We had a very lovely stay at the Evergreen Algonquin! The cabin was beautifully built and decorated, and extremely cozy. It was really nice having a thermostat controlled fireplace to keep the cabin warm during external temperatures of below -10C. Cynthia and Steve were excellent hosts, greeting us upon arrival and generously shared snacks, water, and recommendations for activities and restaurants in the area. This was the perfect place to spend some time in nature and enjoy the beautiful snowy forests.

We had a great stay at Quianna's cozy and warm little cabin. The cabin was clean and well kept. She informed about the shops and restaurants nearby and that they shutdown early so we could plan accordingly. Best place to stay while you explore the Algonquin park highway 60 corridor.

Our stay at Helen's cabin was very relaxing and peaceful. We had very friendly neighbours (ruby and spirit) and had a very cozy atmosphere. Bali was our personal guide through the trails and definitely made it into our highlights of our trip. Helen was extremely helpful and welcoming and was very easy to communicate with. I would recommend to check out the Wolf conservation which was 17 minutes from the cabin. Would also recommend to go to Hook Line & Sinker which had amazing food! Will definitely be coming back, thank you!!!

Had a really lovely time at Susan's cabin! Very cozy and peaceful. Felt really private as well compared to some other cottages I've been to, not to mention I don't think the neighbours were there while I was up. View from the cabin was really nice, and gets great afternoon and evening sun. Could see the sunset from the big windows and loved looking out at the view from the couch. Also got bundled up and sat on the frozen lake. Enjoyed the Sauna! Definitely recommend! (:

This is a wonderful and cozy cabin experience for a group of 4. The place has a lovely history and is preserved that way with attention to aesthetics that take you back in time. Debbi is a warm host and although we didn’t get to meet in person she was quick to respond and provided all the necessary details during our stay. Good parking space, private location and beautiful nursery and nature around the property. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Algonquin provincial park during the fall season.
