Chalet vacation rentals in Lake of Bays

Great communication with Shawn from start to finish, the home was what we expected and equipped with almost everything we needed. Lots of parking available, great spaces for groups to hang out, easy to host team meals. We were there for a ski trip and got pounded with snow, burying all sidewalks and making the walk to villages and chairlifts more difficult - but doable.

Tamara’s rental was perfect for a girls weekend! Great sleeping arrangements. Hot tub was nice and clean. The whole canine was spot less and clean. Only 10 min uber ride into blue mountain. Great location. Would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a great stay at Vivian's place! The chalet was very clean, exactly as described, and fit our group of 13 comfortably. We especially liked the big dining table that was great for meals and games together, and that the kitchen/living room area was on a separate floor from all the bedrooms as this made it easy to accommodate different schedules within the group. One thing to note is that the kitchen didn't have some cooking items like tin foil, cooking oil, and a baking sheet, so be sure to bring those if you'll need them. There was coffee however which we really appreciated! Vivian was very responsive to all messages and sent clear instructions for the space. Definitely recommend for a big group trip, would book again!

Our stay was great. Location is prefect, its an all in one place to stay, the photos didn’t give justice to the actual place, its perfect for big family gathering. We’ll love to stay again.

Our host was very respectful, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. The cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed and offered great amenities. The location was also convenient and pleasant. Overall, we had a wonderful time here and would definitely recommend this place to others!

Greg and meagan are extremely great host they helped with couple things during my stay as the bathroom door was staying open they came right away to service , i told them toaster was broken they went to buy a brand new one and replaced it right away, also prompt with stove problem we had There are quick responsive at any time of the day The home was very clean and neat washrooms were very nice Loved the indoor hotub could use it at anytime !! Close walking distance to the village nice for a walk on a nice day Bbq was very clean and ready for use Overall my stay there with my family was great and i definitely would stay here again Thank you guys for everything

We had a great time, the location was absolutely gorgeous with such beautiful landscaping. We will definitely book it again, if we are planning to visit the blue mountains as it’s 3 mins drive.

Great cottage with large deck and outdoor area. Well equipped and clean. Quiet lake. Hosts were proactive and provided good instructions. There was no wifi and there are many steps down to the lake but we were told that ahead of time. So, it was not a surprise. We had a great family vacation.

Had an amazing stay at Limberlost’s Buck Lake Lodge. The property was very private and peaceful and accommodates large groups well. Great location with a beautiful waterfront. Would just recommend you pack all the essentials but aside from that it was a great place to stay!

We stayed with a group of friends over the New Years holiday, and it was the perfect peaceful setting! Lots of communal space to hang out, play games, eat meals. The view from the back windows and deck was stunning as well!

The place is absolutely gorgeous. The layout was very accommodating for a large group. We had space to all be together and lots of private nooks for some private/quiet time. The host was very accommodating to all my questions. The house is close enough to Blue Mountain village to enjoy everything that it offers. I would highly recommend this house.

Wilson's place was amazing. It is huge with lots of rooms and space. We weren't able to use the pool because of the weather still being too cold but the hot tub made up for it. Wilson was very responsive and friendly. I highly recommend staying here with your friends and family!

My husband and I had a lovely week-long stay at the Secluded Nature Chalet over Christmas! Lisa's and Ian's attention to detail was evident from the start, with thoughtful touches like a handwritten card and welcome gifts awaiting us upon arrival. The house is cozy yet modern, with an impressively well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom felt luxurious, featuring a rain shower and a large bathtub—especially with the small bath amenities thoughtfully provided by our hosts. The property offers a perfect blend of forested tranquillity and access to Bark Lake. We loved the beautiful view from the house and the daily visits from squirrels on the terrace. The snowshoes and hiking poles the host lent us made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Lisa was very responsive and quick to resolve a minor heating issue. Her attentiveness ensured a smooth and pleasant stay.

So peaceful and we all felt right at home. Beautiful getaway and much appreciated to the hospitality. Also Joey and Zachery are so so cute and friendly.

I had a fantastic stay at Greg's place. The location was perfect, with kayaking and hiking trails nearby, and the stargazing at night was breathtaking. The cottage was cozy and well-equipped, making it an ideal getaway—I’d highly recommend it! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Our family stayed at Antonio’s place for a week and we really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was very clean and as described. The beds were very comfortable and we all had good sleeps the entire week! The area was very safe and peaceful and the cottage was well stocked so we literally just needed to bring food and clothes and we were set. The location is very well located between Gravenhurst and Bracebridge so everything is close by and very accessible. We would definitely recommend this cottage and would love to return for another vacation in the future.

Absolutely lovely location & cottage. David provided everything we needed & more! Beautiful location that felt secluded and peaceful. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking as we stayed for Thanksgiving weekend. Look forward to returning for the summer!

Very large and unique log cabin. Loved that there was an ensuite bathroom for each bedroom. Our elderly mother was with us and she did not have to climb stairs. One bedroom is on the main floor with ensuite. A big bonus. Outfitted well with plenty of dishes, cutlery, etc.. Plenty of room to have your own space if u wish. Alan was super friendly and enjoyed hearing stories of how the log house came to be. very picturesque with the fall colors.

A private gate away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our stay at Kesa Mokki was everything as described on the listing. It was fun, entertaining and peaceful. We will be back!
