We loveddddddd loved loved this beautiful home! It was so peaceful ! Clean ! Private ! Beautiful views. We felt right at home. It was so cozy; we hated even leaving this place to go do other things. I definitely would recommend this place to family and friends . We hope to come back . The host were absolutely fantastic. Very friendly and responsive .

This place is incredible. Was the perfect size for many couples, the roof was a lovely spot to gather, and the rooms were all truly spacious and well-decorated. The views from the room and back decks were also spectacular. On top of everything, Lisa was so kind and responsive. If you need a home to house a good amount of people in Charlottesville that’s centrally located, this spot can’t be beat.

What a wonderful place to relax with family. Perfect place to enjoy the outdoors and everything Lake Anna has to offer.

We took a family trip down from Ohio for a family wedding on the lake, we can’t say enough good things about Matt’s place, the pictures don’t do it justice! From the large rooms and open concept to the amazing grounds and dock, this place has it all! Quiet and cozy with amazing views! It felt as if we had our own spaces inside the house it’s self ! Will be in touch and will book again in the future !

We had a great stay. The property was beautiful and we enjoyed hikes around it. Alex greeted us when we arrived and gave us a tour/history of the property. Very nice! Our kids and dogs fell in love with Louie. Louie showed us new areas to explore and always kept a watchful eye on us. (The big white dog) We stayed here over thanksgiving and would like to return during the summer to enjoy the water.

Fantastic stay and wonderful hosts! Convenient location to historic Monticello, wineries, and downtown Charlottesville. The hosts were very helpful with local recommendations and were quick to respond. The house was spotless and clean, and had the perfect amenities for a weekend trip. Would highly recommend!

We had a great stay at this cozy lakeside home. Perfect for our small group looking to escape the city for a weekend in the woods. We hope to be back again in the summertime!

This house has great outdoor amenities and a homey indoor feel! Great deck, dock fire pit area, as well as a patio. Check in process was smooth. House is on gravel road, if you aren’t sure if you’re in the right place, keep driving and follow the host’s instructions, and you’ll find it! We did experience issues with the water pressure which meant we couldn’t have two showers going at one time - host attributed this to water filtration system needing cleaned out, offered to tell us how to turn it off. We opted to leave the system on and stagger showers due to mineral load in the water. Host’s communication was very responsive when we had questions before and during the trip.

Really enjoyed our stay. Quiet neighbourhood. House very well equipped. Especially useful /thoughtful to have condiments, herbal teas, plenty of paper towels, toilet tissue, etc. Owen very responsive to questions before arrival. No issues while we were there.

Knot on Call lakehouse was amazing! It was clean, spacious, had everything we needed to cook, eat, shower, sleep, & play! I loved how everything had a user guide/info or was labeled if you needed it. I noticed & appreciated all the details. The large gift basket of snacks was a nice touch. Everything was very thoroughly thought out in this home. House felt private, secluded, and peaceful. We enjoyed nights at the firepit, exploration walks & evenings in the game room for movies & family game nights. Game room was another well thought out idea and a very nice addition. When inside, it was where we spent all of our time. Teens & smaller kids were entertained and that is hard to do! Jon and Carrie were accommodating, responsive, & so kind to us during our stay. Wonderful hosts! Core memories were created here for all the kiddos. We miss it already & we can't wait to come back! As the kids would say... Thank you Mr. Jon and Carrie for sharing your wonderful home with us. ❤️

The house was great! It had everything we needed to enjoy the long weekend. I would suggest packing water shoes for the little ones. We did not and left with a couple cuts but nothing serious.

We were in the area for a wedding. Booked this property for the central location for the wedding. This house is beautiful. Everything that we needed was already there. Even things that we did not need to buy. Spices already in the cabinets. If ever in this area again, I would certainly reach out to rent this property.

We loved our stay at the banana cabana! Starting and ending the day in the hot tub was so relaxing and a dream come true! We loved how close the grocery store and coffee shop was. Beautiful, clean and such a nice getaway!

We had a great time celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary. The TV apps didn’t work but Kim tried everything she could to get the apps on the TV to work, which was nice. We just used my laptop as our TV when we wanted to watch something. It was very peaceful & it felt like we were the only ones there which is exactly what we wanted.

Christmas stay was great!! Just remember you have to climb a ladder to get to the sleeping space

Julie’s place was amazing. The drive in was beautiful, the house overlooks an amazing farm. Very private and peaceful. My wife and I plan to go back every year. Julie was amazing, responded very quickly and even let us check out later than originally planned. I would recommended staying here, it was a great experience. The home was extremely clean, had all the kitchen accessories you could want, the fireplace was ready to go, and the tv was already logged in to just about every streaming service you could ask for (amazing wifi as well). By far one of our favorite places, ran by great people! We will be back!

Cozy, serene, aesthetically pleasing apartment. We adored the private feeling we had, even in the cute outdoor seated garden space which we used often. The bed was so comfortable with plenty of pillows. The little kitchenette was well stocked with nice little touches. The bathroom was very clean and the shower had great pressure. Nice bathtub too! We loved the soothing pale green wall color and the wonderful lighting. There are a lot of lamps to meet different lighting needs and moods. I was slightly concerned we might be cold in the base level of an older house but that was not at all the case. Anne keeps the thermostat set to a cozy temp and also she offered we could call her to adjust it, which we never needed to do. We were attending a conference at the University and we found a pleasant route to walk. Others stayed at hotels that were a lot more expensive and had so much less charm! We felt lucky with our choice and we hope to stay again next year.

Mariah thought of everything. There were dozens of small thoughtful touches that made the stay special. From treats for our dog, to an extra toothbrush if one was forgotten to milk and numerous creamer choices for the coffee. The location was quiet and convenient. Great stay

Peter was responsive and generous. I was visiting Charlottesville and he offered his own oven for me to make some dishes. His place is clean and was nice and warm during the cold nights. I would stay here again when visiting. Thanks Peter for being a great host.
