Monthly Rentals in Lake Mahopac

One of the cleanest Airbnb's I've seen - the hosts are very nice and meet you to explain how things work. The bed upstairs was really comfortable. The spiral staircase is wide and sturdy. The shower had plenty of hot water. The kitchen has a large oven and an excellent dishwasher. If you prefer takeout - I suggest - DeCicco's for prepared foods, a bakery and extensive beer selection. 8 miles beyond that are Trader Joes, Whole Foods and the Shake Shack (take the side streets, not the highway).

This is a gorgeous guest house with a lovely view of the lake. Didn’t get to try the sauna but appreciated that it was available all hours. Shower and bed were nice! We traveled here on bike while going from Poughkeepsie to NYC on the Empire State Trail. The house is close to the trail and they gave us good bike directions. Great place to stop to split up the 100 mile journey - right in the middle!

We’ve stayed at Filiz’s place a few times and it’s perfect! Quiet, clean, and easy to get to where we needed to be. We’ll be back!

The Art Grove was the perfect place for me and my parents to stay! It has all the amenities you need during a stay including a grill outside for cooking and a fully stocked kitchen. Russell and his wife, Janet were incredibly friendly and helpful. The artwork around the house was an added bonus to enjoy during the stay! I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a beautiful home to stay in while visiting the area. It’s also perfect for those who love to go hiking, as there are plenty of trails nearby!
