Vacation rentals with beach access in Lake Forest

Great spot with so many restaurants and coffee spots and the beach within walking distance. The place is cozy and bright — a delightful beach-town studio. There’s definitely some traffic noise (as described) but the white noise machine was perfect at night and we slept soundly. Definitely recommend!

A quaint little house, with a short walk to the beach. The area is beautiful to walk and close to restaurants. Great stay.

We had a great stay at Sean & Danielle's place. They were super responsive when we asked to book their place very last minute due to our original plans falling through and the unit was clean and ready for us when we arrived. There was plenty of room for us, our dog, and our baby. The unit was also peaceful and despite being connected to the main house, we didn't hear a single thing the entire time we stayed. Sean & Danielle were also flexible with our dog and check-out was easy.

We absolutely loved staying here! Very walkable to everything we wanted to do! The bed was comfortable, and the whole space was clean and smelled great! The host was also very wonderful. And we actually found parking right in front of the gate. We will absolutely stay here again if we find ourselves in Long Beach again!

We stayed here as a quick getaway with family from out of town. Elizabeth's place was so cute and welcoming. It was a perfect size for us 4 and very spacious. Excellent location, lots of parking, walkable to all the local eateries, and especially the beach and Marina. My sister and niece had the best time here from AZ and would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend Elizabeth's place.

We stayed here tonight. It was close to the event that we were here for everything was very clean, but it does need a little bit of updating. If anyone in the building was cooking you could smell it. Walworth thin and you can hear everything the neighbors do but that’s also out of the house control. Parking was also a little difficult, but overall was a great experience though. Everything we needed was provided and again, although it needs a little bit of improvement it was a great space and clean.

We had a great time at Roger’s place! The location is fantastic. It’s right across the street from the beach and just a short walk to the pier and all the restaurants and shops. The home itself is very clean and comfortable. Enough room for my husband and I and 4 teenagers to relax and unwind after a day at the beach. The home is stocked with everything needed, including lots of beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards and board games. Communication with Roger was excellent. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

The place is perfect! Parking is awesome. The good neighborhood has a lot of coffee shops beach close (5 mins drive, 18mins walk) Bed is huge and comfortable! We would deffenetpy stay here again. I would recommend to change shower head, coz it is bad. and AC is not cooling enough for hot days. :) Thank you!

I loved staying in this house. It's located in a beautiful neighborhood walking distance from the beach, and the space is very clean, cozy, and quiet. I felt so comfortable and got the best night's sleep I've had in a while. Katrina is also communicative and friendly. The only thing to watch out for is street sweeping. I was fortunate to realize right on time. Would absolutely stay here again.

A wonderful and convenient spot, this place is close to everything you need! Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops, and convenient store! Very short drive to nearby places such as Balboa Island! The place itself was exactly as pictured, very clean and quant. Perfect for our family of 4! The only thing I would mention is this is the bottom unit, half our stay we were there with no one above us, the other half did have renters above and the walls are quite thin! Luckily our daughters have a sound machine and were able to sleep through the walking around upstairs! Nothing the upstairs neighbors could have done but just something to keep in mind being the bottom unit :) still a 5-star experience in our opinion with all the other great things this house offers.

We loved our stay in at the Newport Beach home! The view of the ocean from the patio was spectacular! We spent most of our time sitting on the patio. Beds were comfortable. We had all amenities we needed. The space was cozy, clean and well decorated. We plan to come back in a regular basis!

Great place to stay for our Beach/Disney vacation. Just a block from the beach and 25 minutes to the parks. And everyone at HappiTravels was helpful— answered our questions and were there when we called.

The entire home was felt like a home away from home. It was well stocked and had exactly what we needed and more. Our kids enjoyed the toys, playground, and chess set. They played while us parents relaxed. The washer, Drier and dishwasher and ice maker were so helpful and we were grateful for the AC units after long days at Disney. Rosie was super responsive after a small sink leak and all communications were warm. The oven temp gage was difficult to read a bit. We enjoyed the TVs and the comfy beds and furniture. we had a wonderful time and made lots of memories.

Derek’s beach house was so beautiful and such a relaxing environment. It felt like my family had our own private beach. And he was a very polite and professional down to earth host. The house was very clean and comfortable I wish I could leave a 10 star rating!!! Thank you again Derek for a wonderful experience for me and my family. The beachfront view is worth every penny!!!

We recommend this place most highly and would stay here again on our next visit to San Clemente. We loved the Mission Revival architecture so unique to Southern California, in particular the outdoor patio with its many plants and flowers and colorful Mexican pottery. The kitchen was fully equipped and the bed was quite comfortable. Kim’s home is close to many restaurants and only ten minutes to the beach and pier, yet it was very quiet at night. We especially appreciated the reserved parking spot as street parking was otherwise almost impossible to find in the Old Town area of San Clemente.

I had a wonderful stay! The hosts were incredibly warm and friendly, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. They were generous with their time and local knowledge, which was especially meaningful to me as I’m preparing to move to the area. The space itself was the perfect peaceful accommodation, comfortable, quiet, and thoughtfully set up. I left feeling welcomed, grounded, and excited for what’s ahead. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this Hamilton Cove condo! The home was absolutely beautiful—perfectly clean, spacious, and filled with natural light thanks to its open-concept design. The views were truly breathtaking and made every moment feel like a retreat. Blake was super responsive and so nice, even responding after 9pm, which made the entire experience even better. Just a heads up: there are some steep stairs near the entrance down to the master, so if you’re traveling with toddlers or have mobility concerns, it’s something to keep in mind. That said, the location and overall experience were more than worth it. Easily the most beautiful place to stay on Catalina!

This unit within Hamilton Cove has been our best vacation yet. The views from the balcony were stunning. The entire unit felt clean and was very spacious for me and my now wife. The golf kart was a plus - it was a short 5-8 minute ride into downtown. Hosts were responsive. Definitely will be coming back to stay here again!!

Tiffany is an incredible host. She is easy to communicate with and was proactive informing you of what to expect, easy instructions both checking in and out, as well as recommendations. She answered any questions I had in a timely matter to. The golf cart is a great addition as well to easily get to Avalon. Bottom line up front everything was very simple so that my girlfriend and I were able to fully enjoy our stay on the island. The villa was beautiful just like the pictures. It was very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I highly recommend booking with Tiffany at her villa in Hamilton Cove. Just a heads up if you’re going to eat on the balcony don’t leave any food unattended for a second or the birds will swoop it. They’re watching and waiting for an opportunity. Happened to me lol. Thank you again Tiffany for making our trip so much easier to enjoy.

The place was beautiful! There was an amazing view. The place was nice and cozy, the perfect place to relax and soak in the view. The poo and hot tub was also very convenient.
