Family-friendly vacation rentals in Lake County

My family cannot stop talking about our trip to Nice, the house was amazing and fit our large group perfectly. The private beach and dock were great for water sports. We can’t wait to go back!

Great house for a large group. Has plenty of space and beds. Wonderful large deck with with amazing views of the lake. Kids loved the arcade games, foozball table and the board games. Hot Tub was a plus as well. The house also has multiple TVs and the kitchen is well equipped. The hosts were very responsive. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay, perfect for a family. The room is very spacious and the pool is clean and spacious. Great view of the lake. We got our groceries 3 minutes away so we had everything needed in order not to leave the place. One thing to note is the surrounding neighborhoods and areas are all rundown vs there rest of the lake which is more well kept. But we loved it and were very comfortable, heaven for kids!

Beautiful location. The property, amenities, and lawns are very well maintained. The ladies at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Fred is very responsive and helped me to get a two-bedroom apartment for one night. The apartment is big and is exactly the same as shown in the photos.

Awesome getaway! Room was amazing, plenty of room , very clean. Views are absolutely gorgeous! Pool and Hot Tub make the stay so relaxing. Will definitely be coming back time and time again.

We had a great stay. House was great for large group. We fished off dock and caught catfish and bass. We would stay there again.

First timer at Worldmark & would definitely come again. Spacious, inviting, & clean just like at home. Came with a group of friends & family…Fred’s place was nice & quiet. Can’t wait to come again next summer.

Greta's place was the perfect spot for us to enjoy our beloved Harbin without having to board our dog. The cabin was absolutely cozy, clean, and comfortable, while Greta's breakfast fruit plate and muffins (made vegan just for us) was lovely. Our dog enjoyed the gated in grounds which were surprisingly large enough for him to run around in. Greta met us when we arrived and on the way out; she one of the friendliest hosts you will find.

Ashley's place was beautiful, clean, and cozy. The views off the deck were gorgious to look at while enjoying a nice cup of coffee. The family had such a good time that my children didn't want to leave.

We very much enjoyed our stay; we wanted to take our first vacation with our (large, active) dog and chose a farm, rural environment. The actual place is super cute with a nice fenced yard and a view into the back of the farm. The kitchen was handy to make meals and the place overall was good for accommodating our dog. Also, for those not familiar with the area, I found the water and air SUPER clean (noticeably better quality compared to where I live). Guess the lake nearby is called Clear Lake for a reason!

Loved every minute of our stay. The neighbors were friendly and it was so peaceful. We loved having the private dock.

This is a beautiful lakefront property with a private, fenced backyard, perfect for kids and dogs. The home has been freshly renovated with clean bathrooms and good water pressure. The interior of the home is all on one level (that requires about 4 steps up to access) and has a gorgeous view of the lake from the great room. Lovely string lights line the backyard and create a magical feeling in the evenings, especially at dusk. There is also plenty of parking, both inside and outside the front gate. Our host, Kaushik, was extremely responsive, flexible, and helpful every step of the way. As for the location, it is close to many points of interest. Ukiah, home of the famous Vichy Springs, is just 30 minutes away, and Orr Hotspring is just an hour away. The home is a short 5 minute drive to downtown Lakeport & 15 minutes to downtown Kelseyville and its many wineries. Clearlake State Park, with a sandy beach, is just a few minutes away, as is antique shopping in Upper Lake. Recommend!

The property was perfect and peaceful. Love everything about it, next time I will make my way around the lake to look at places to eat, etc. We will be back for sure!

It is in a beautiful location, and the apartment was relaxing and well-appointed. There is a very peaceful garden/patio area that is available for all the guests. There is more than adequate free parking. There are several great places to eat. Studabakers, across the street, has the best coffee in town. For breakfast, I recommend the Everything Bagel with lox. My husband prefers the breakfast burrito. They also make takeaway sandwiches, which we took to the state park for a walk and picnic by Clear Lake.

This place is magical. There’s a creek in the backyard and surrounded by trees. You feel so far away from everything, but there’s a grocery not too far. The coffee shop right down the street is also very good. 10/10 would come back

We are so glad we found Heather and her rustic cabins, it’s the only place to stay when visiting Lake Pillsbury. Such a unique location with a fascinating history, a much needed break from the city life. Our cabin had plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 children, was spotless with very comfortable beds! The shared kitchen had everything you could possibly need We spent 4 days relaxing at the private pound, taking bike rides down the winding roads, stargazing, and exploring the trails. Heather checked in with us daily and was able to share the history of her land and the cabins. A beautiful location that everyone needs to visit!

Fred’s place is one of our favorite places to escape to in Clearlake! It’s nestled within a very peaceful and quiet area, with easy access to the outdoors. He’s a very responsive, positive and flexible host.

I was thoroughly satisfied with Isis Oasis Retreat House. I wish the same for you! We had more time to explore a little further.

Starling’s rest is a very spacious for our group of 10. The place is very well stocked with all amenities and kitchen utensils. The beds were comfortable and bedrooms were spacious. The highlight of the space was its location. It is located in a very private location with no neighbors in sight. We couldnt use the pool as it was closed in winter but we enjoyed the hot tub. Will definitely recommend to our friends and family.

We had a fabulous time as a group of 10 girls celebrating my sister's engagement. The house has the most beautiful view and did not disappoint! The best part of our experience was that Danielle was SO helpful in planning our wine tasting day and giving recommendations. We were unfamiliar with Alexander Valley, and she was able to help us coordinate and afforable, unforgetable day visiting wineries!

We loved staying at Noah and Joe's place! The place was beautiful and surrounded by nature. The cabin was very clean and it included all the services listed in the description. It is pet friendly and we were able to bring our cats with us. They loved it as well, chasing birds and playing in the trees. The place also has public pools that are very clean with clear water. Joe was very friendly and always willing to help. I highly recommend this place if you want to spend some time relaxing and in contact with nature.

Rebecca's home is such a wonderful place to stay, full of everything you might need for your trip. The house has everything including all the amenities you would need but also a level of charm and peace. The views of the lake from the patio are breathtaking, we spent most of our time in the pool and hot tub soaking in all the views that the house has to offer. Rebecca was also always available for any questions and support along with a wonderful welcome buffet to start off our trip :) I would recommend this house to anyone as we enjoyed every moment. We look forward to coming back!

Place was great and staff was pleasant! Tawny was super responsive and understanding. The pool there is awesome! The only thing is that the lake is not very good for swimming and there is no close access to it. I should have read more about Clearlake.
