Farmstay vacation rentals in Lake Como

It is an apartment in the middle of nature, you can see the river from the balcony and is surrounded by the greenery of the trees and plants both at the foot of the villa and in the distance, with an extraordinary view of mountains and countryside. The apartment is identical to the photos and its characteristic is rustic, you can immerse yourself in those years when real wood was still used for furniture but also has imaginative and very beautiful objects and decorations. Host Giulia was very friendly and thoughtful, she showed us the secondary way of walking to the farm, the peculiarities of the farm inside and showed us in person the beautiful horses that also happily stay on this wonderful farm full of nature and objects that have a charm for both the adults and children. I highly recommend everyone an experience of a week or more in this excellent apartment.

We booked Silvana’s place as a last minute holiday trip to lake como and we are glad we did. Silvana is a great host, she greeted us at check-in and also helped us with our questions about parking, routes and travel options to various location around lake como. Her house is big with a great view and has all the amenities. Overall a great host and a beautiful place. Thank you Silvana for your hospitality.

We had a great time in this place. The view is stunning and worth the steep route going up the mountain to get in or get out of the property.. Marzia is a great host. She responded to all our questions and provided a guide of restaurants and things to do. I’d recommend people with an interest to stay a lot in the property to come here because of its beauty and its high location.

We had an unforgettable stay at Cristina and Mauro's house. As already mentioned several times in the reviews, the view from the deck is breathtaking! What a joy to wake up every morning to this different show every day... And what about this beautiful house, full of charm while remaining functional, we felt like home. One thing is for sure, you'll never want to leave this paradise again! We'll definitely be back. Thanks again to both of you and see you soon!

Villa Vitalba is the perfect place to stay for a group of family and friends and to celebrate a special occasion. To us it was more like a Palace rather than a Villa and we felt like Duke and Countess. Carola and Lorenzo were phenomenal hosts and made us feel at home right away. They helped to organize additional accommodation in the vicinity as well as catering from the nearby La Frasca, provided numerous suggestions what to do in the area and also supplied us with wine from their vineyards. We had the best of times at the Villa and would chose it again without any doubt! Thanks so much, Carola and Lorenzo, for your hospitality, kindness and support!!

Our stay in Italy was fantastic, partly thanks to our hostess Luisa. She was very helpful and always quick to respond to our messages and questions, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The cottage was equipped with every comfort. The bathroom and kitchen were neat and well maintained. The Agrilu ( the cottage ) is in a nature reserve with a wonderful mountain view. A car is advisable to explore the area and grocery shopping at the extensive shopping center nearby, where plenty of shops can be found. We had a great time with our two dogs, who enjoyed the space and nature. For anyone looking for a quiet place to relax and enjoy nature but also to visit the tourist places around Lake Como, this Agrilu is highly recommended!

What a beautiful place! There's everything you need in the house, good kitchen, nice and clean beds, and a lovely space outside. It's an old traditional house, with a well designed interior. Communication with Maria was great, she provided all the necessary infos. Good access with public transport. Thanks for having us! We'll be back :)

We had a lovely vacation in the apartment. Especially the balcony, with its beautiful view, it appealed to us and of course the refreshing swimming pool of the Verzasca, which was a 5-minute walk away. The apartment was clean and practically furnished. The location was great for us "non-car drivers": good accommodation and shopping within walking distance. We really appreciated the mosquito nets that we were able to attach in the windows. The apartment is on the main road which first scared us. But this didn't bother us at all, you didn't hear it well from the balcony and didn't see it either. Only the room layout was not so suitable for us friends. this is better for a couple. What I really appreciated was that the host was always easy to reach and was always amazingly quick to respond to requests.

Stayed there with my friends for a couple nights and it was real cozy! (mind you its end of november so it's really cold!) But the fire place in the middle of the place was so perfect. The host recommended us a fabulous Pizzeria just 8 mins away walking! 10/10 would def recommend staying here!

Cozy, well-decorated house that makes you feel "at home". With its large living area and 5 rooms, it is perfect for a weekend with friends. The host was always kind, helpful, and quick to respond from the request for pre-booking information until the availability of the roads just before our arrival.

Beautifully quiet location with an amazing view of the alpine. We were hit downstairs at the parking lot and the path was shown to us, thanks to Patrizia for the patience, we were about 1.5 hours late, she was waiting for us and greeted us warmly with a coffee. Very well equipped house, with washing machine and dishwasher. Relatively small but we got along well with it (2 adults, 3 children and a small dog). The living area is extended by the small garden:-) We would love to come back!

What a nice stay. On the water and a beach 10 min by car. The garden was also great to sit in. We were very warmly welcomed by Omar. What a nice man. We lacked nothing. Small village, but if you like, you can do anything. We have relaxed wonderfully!! Thank you!

We had a great time in Laura's apartment. Everything is clean and well equipped, even with toys for two small children and coffee / beer for mom & dad. The area is very quiet and we slept with open windows. Sometimes it had a few mosquitoes but even here Laura provided and sprays or candles are available in the property.

You can't tell until you get there. Superlative accommodation. Equipped with every comfort. The village is a peaceful oasis even with the rain, was lovely. A bottle of wine and a 0 km coffee pop up when you arrive. The house is equipped with every comfort. It's warm and cozy. We'll definitely be back.

Lovely stay! Very clean and cozy! Good location if you have a rental car. Excellent communication from the host with helpful with instructions.

The vegetable garden is ideally located right on the lake front, with amazingggg views and very pretty surroundings both in and outside the home/garden. We loved Lierna, a peaceful village away from all the tourists but in close proximity to everything you’d need. Highly recommend sisters cafe ( get the pancakes!) right opposite as well as La Piazza bar in the square close by. Thank you Maurizia & family for your kindness and a comfortable stay!

We loved staying at Claudio’s in Meride. The apartment had everything we needed with a large terrace for relaxed outdoor living. We did not have a car but the local bus was very reliable and took us down to Mendrisio or to other local villages. We would definitely recommend staying at Claudio’s if you enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle of busy city life.

Apartment was very good,very clean and warm like at home. The ownes very friendly,they give as something from the farm for free and they respond you for everything. I have it a bad luck because was raining every day but still the place was beautiful. I recommend it.

Very nice apartment, with great view

Had a great stay at Cleto's! The place is extremely nice, we always had our meals in the garden. Everything is very easily accessible by car, and Cleto was super helpful and nice. Glad to come back!
