Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Lake Biwa

Lovely clean place, spacious, close to train station. Recommended if you want a peaceful place away from crowds.

Wonderful location - walkable or quick cab to many sites and conveniences. Cool Machiya good for two couples with upstairs and downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms providing privacy. Downstairs bedroom has a firm western style bed, two upstairs bedrooms have multiple futons and plenty of bedding. Compared to our other accommodations with futons, these were very thin, but because they were plentiful we stacked them for a little more cushion. Lovely small garden to look over makes the place feel a world away. Rental company was responsive and dropped off dishwasher soap same day when we realized there wasn’t any. Overall great stay and excellent hosts - would recommend for your stay in wonderful Kyoto!

Very nice Airbnb and traditional look to it. Close to the station and shopping district. Convenient store right across the road.

This place was amazing but there are a couple of caveats I'd point out: **Warning** For groups larger than 4 - the space is tight. We were 6 and had to keep some bags in the living room space. The walls are also paper thin so there's not a ton of privacy and you can hear everything all the time, so if you're a light sleeper, be wary. One of the bedrooms is only accessible through another bedroom, which isn't great. Especially for larger groups, it's a bit uncomfortable having to go through one bedroom in order to go outside or get back in. It wasn't super evident to us in the pictures, so wanted to make it clear here. There was also a bit of a shift in the water pressure and temperature when both bathrooms were being used, but it was super manageable and not too bad. Otherwise, this place was very well located, there were plenty of delicious bakeries and restaurants nearby. Everything that we wanted to do was easily accessible. The bathroom and everything was great and clean!

It is a pretty accommodation located in a quiet village near Arashiyama. There is a Landen Line station nearby, and a bus stop that leads to the city. The accommodation was tidy, and the host's quick and friendly response made it a pleasant trip to Kyoto!

Wonderful place to stay with plenty of space to relax after a long day of walking. Perfect for a family or group of friends. This is my third time staying in the area, it is very local but still accessible for tourists. the house is very conveniently located between a few train stations. Would love to stay here again, my favorite Airbnb in Japan by far. The host is very responsive and accommodating.

The house with the Japanese style was great. With a very beautiful and relaxing garden. The area is very pleasant and quiet to rest after a long day. The host is very responsive and attentive to requests throughout the stay. If I come back to Kyoto, I plan to take over the same place.

This is the perfect spot to explore Kyoto. Close to transport and lots of great cafe + eating recommends from Takeski make it seamless to feel at home. We stayed a week and loved it.

We absolutely loved this space. It was exactly what we needed after an intensive first week of travel in Japan. We were looking for something similar to a Ryokan but was more private. The large tub was the main reason we booked and it absolutely did not disappoint. It brought us all the zen we needed. The host allowed us to drop our bags early as well so we could explore and come back later for check in. Thank you for this lovely space. We wish we could have stayed more nights!!

Great house, except for the slight distance to the bus and subway station, no disadvantages at all

Everything was perfect for a group of 9. Amenities were working, beds were comfortable, location was prime as it was walking distance to dotonbori, but also was situated near subway stations. Privacy was appreciated as well. Again, place was perfect for a large group

Romance the man you admire! Yesterday, I was on the way home while talking to a friend. The clean and tidy kitchen, thoughtful terrace, and the owner full of hospitality were all great! I'd love to bring my family next! It was the best trip! Thank you so much!

We had a very comfortable stay at Icy’s place in Kyoto. It was extremely clean when we arrived, and she was fantastic and quick with communication. The location was about a 15 minute walk to a main train station but within a 5 minute walk to multiple bus stops so it was easy to get around. We had a lovely time!

It was a very satisfying stay! There are also plenty of plates and dishes around the kitchen, and you don't have to buy them. The BBQ grill and wood stove were also a good experience. The beds and buses were clean and the jacuzzi bath and sauna were satisfactory. It is located in the mountains, so the beetles come in from somewhere, but you love them. There are also many insecticidal spray, so people who are not good at it can also be dealt with. Thank you for a very satisfying stay!

Anyway, it's fully equipped. Everything is sparkling clean. It is good because it has a high fence as a private space. I'll use it again.
