Words can’t express the beauty of where this air bnb is located. We are glad we opted for a larger vehicle as this air bnb is tucked away in lush green forest like area. Our hosts were kind enough to give us a heads up about arriving before sundown so we made sure to arrive during the day. They accommodated an early check in. Everything about this home is perfect. We had everything we needed. Barclay and his wife have adorable dogs that we also got to meet. It was an honor to experience Costa Rica by staying here. We felt so immersed in nature and had the most beautiful sunsets every night. The sounds of nature, the rain and the greenery was truly stunning. Thank you to this awesome couple for hosting us!

Loved Casa Hormiga! Cute, quaint, hut was the perfect place to start my time in Costa Rica! So sad I missed out on one night with airline delays. Jose is so friendly and a wonderful host! I opted for a craniosacral massage service and to go see the 500 year old tree up the street. It was a glorious day! He also gave other wonderful recommendations of things to do/see in the area.

Welcome to paradise! This is what everything in this house tells you since you arrive. The majestic view, the spacious areas, the amazing gardens, the surroundings but most of all the birds. I had never seen such variety of exotic birds so close to me. We stayed 5 nights and we didn't want to leave the house because it has everything. I highly recommend this rental for the beauty around the house and the strategic location close to different attractive spots. Pura vida!
