This place was such a gem! The house was a perfect place for us to stay during our visit to explore Plumas County fall colors. The bunkhouse has charming decor and is squeaky clean! Heidi and Paul are very thoughtful and kind hosts and made sure we had everything for a comfortable stay. Their lovely dogs Willow and Lily came to check in on us everyday too 😊 The surroundings are so pretty with woods, stream and mountain views. Highly recommend!

Very cute spot with a super comfy bed. Larger than it looked in pics, and the washer / dryer was super easy to access and use. Definitely will be using them again for my next trip!

Alison's cabin is a perfect little winter getaway spot. We spent the long Thanksgiving weekend here and it was perfectly cozy for winter time with a wood burning fireplace. She had a big full kitchen, great for cooking our thanksgiving meal. Entrance to Lassen Volcanic National Park is 14 minutes down the street, very easy to get to. We would absolutely come back next time we visit Lassen!

We made our annual trip to Chester and stayed at our favorite place in town. The house and surroundings are excellent and each year the hosts surprise us with something new that they have added or improved upon. This year we enjoyed sitting on the new deck attached to the house complete with comfortable furnishings. They are artists at interior and exterior beautification. Denise and Rolf have provided wonderful suggestions for local hikes that allow dogs. Each hike has been fabulous and they share details and clear directions. We are so lucky to be able to bring our dog with us. The house and property are a perfect match for both humans and pups. And our dog is always glad to reconnect with Charlie and Tonka! We feel so welcomed and cared for. We highly recommend staying at this special place.

Barbara’s place was great and exactly what we needed for the weekend! It was peaceful and clean, and close to all of our planned activities.

The ranch was beautiful and peaceful. We were there for a birthday fishing trip. It was relaxing, peaceful and so cozy. We cannot wait to return. We enjoyed the hotspring under the stars, the creeks and lakes nearby, the animals and the warmth from the fireplace in the cabin. The Meyer’s Family are such a heartwarming and joyful family. We can’t wait to bring the kids!

We loved this airbnb! Very clean and cozy, lots of extra towels, and comfortable beds. Faustino was kind and helpful! We stay in Chester for work during the week and this was such a lovely place to feel at home for the week!

Although we visited in winter and Lassen Park was closed this seems like the perfect getaway to visit the NP. The surroundings were beautiful and the cabin was furnished with such care. We loved all the decor, personal touches, and would consider staying again during better weather to explore the area more and take advantage of what seems to be a lovely back deck and fire pit area.

A cozy cabin in the woods, but still only a few minutes from town and super close to Lassen National Park! We loved the wood burning stove, the spacious updated kitchen with all the things and comfy beds! I loved having my coffee on the patio listening to the birds and squirrels. We would definitely stay here again! Liz was a wonderful host!
