Sam’s place is a great base to stay at. Walks right from the door step into woodlands or beside the river which the dogs adored. The space is well appointed and Sam’s hosting is second to none. Would definitely come back if staying in the same area.

Great stay. House was so much more than the photos showed. Up for a golfing weekend and no more than 30 from some great courses. The house is set up for weekenders like us but would be great for a family as well. Absolutely no criticism and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

How I enjoyed my stay at my wee lil' Bothy! Thank you for sharing this beautiful Scottish refuge. Jeannie is lovely, accommodating and an excellent communicator. From your private home-away here, you can hike to the top of Dunsinnan Hill and go for walks through forest and fields. The quiet of the countryside with the occasional sheep bleating from afar is soothing and memorable-just excellent! The twin bed is very comfortable and the cottage perfectly cozy. Reading next to the fire with a pot of tea while looking out the window over the herbs and green fields could not be more idyllic. A wonderful stay-thank you so much! 25-28 May, 2025
