Vacation rentals with a kayak in LaGrange County

We had a very nice stay! Would for sure recommend

We were incredibly happy with our stay. The home was very clean, filled with thoughtful and appreciated things. Blankets in the living area, tissues, extra chairs and seating in the closets which we used. They had towels we could use for swimming. Lots of games for both inside and out. We used the kayaks and the dock to park the pontoon we rented. We used and loved the fire pit. Plenty of outdoor seating. I could go on for days about how wonderful the kitchen was. It had plenty of glasses and plates and silverware for our full house. It had serving bowls and plenty of serving spoons. We used the cast iron skillet and the air fryer. There was a blender and hand mixer and crockpot also. Plenty of hot pads they even have Tupperware type containers for leftovers. We cooked every meal and found nothing lacking. There were even common spices and cooking oil along with ketchup mustard and relish waiting for us. Very glad to stay and hope to come back again.

We had a cousins reunion at this house and truly had the best time!! There were 5 families: two adult couples and 3 couples with kids (ranging from 1 to 8 years old). We all had plenty of space and the rooms worked out great. Our time down by the lake was AMAZING! We loved that everything we needed was down there, having a bathroom, a fridge and sink right there were so handy. Lauren even thought of everything, with plenty of phone chargers down there too! Also, we weren’t looking forward to blowing up the inflatables we brought for the lake, and we didn’t have to, because there were so many already there and ready to go!! Even had beach towels. Not having to worry about all of the things like that was a huge win. Also the water was gorgeous and clear as described!! Great for kids! Lastly, Lauren was incredibly responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this place I will definitely be back!!

We had a great stay at this lovely lakefront cottage. Sad that we were only passing through (1 night) because it's such a beautiful and peaceful location. I can see this place being great for families and those who enjoy being on the water. Watching the Canada geese and swans, both with their babies made our morning.

Great place. Perfect for unwinding. The access to the kayaks and paddleboard was awesome and there are 3 life vests. Seating on the deck was perfect. Lake looked pretty at sunset. We did not go out much so did not explore the suggestions. Easy to cook 🧑‍🍳 n the kitchen. Great getaway for us.

We loved our stay at Heron’s Perch! We booked this the same day as our arrival.. Julie was very communicative/responsive and had it spotless when we arrived. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, very cute decorations! It had everything we needed, everything was very clean, and the views are incredible. It was so peaceful to just sit outside by the water, and we loved the views from the main bedroom as well. We loved playing cornhole and using the provided Kayaks! We loved our short stay here, and would love to come back again soon!

The hosts kindly greeted us as we pulled up and gave us tour. Michele even took my 3 year old daughter around back and showed her flowers and etc while husband and I got settled in. Her husband did same thing when we came back from day in town. He even read her a book! The location is about 20 minutes from Shipshewana and the actual land is beautiful surrounded by beautiful lake and great bedroom view. They had toys that my 3 year old could play with. Shared space but very quiet while sleeping and still great amount of privacy. The space is great for families, couples etc. very comfortable and the hosts were very hospitable.

This place was a great stay! Quiet neighborhood away from a lot of things, so very peaceful and nice for a relaxing time. Right on the lake so can’t beat the views! I enjoyed cooking and looking at the surroundings. Beds were also very comfy! Highly recommend

Lovely cottage on a beautiful lake. Spotless and well appointed with indoor and outdoor furnishings. It's cozy, but the porch and outdoor space give you lots of extra room. Great wifi. Three ceiling fans. Overall, perfect for our low-key vacation goals of listening to audiobooks, chilling on the water, and lounging in AC.

This was such a nice weekend with our family. The cottage was stocked with everything you need! The lake is super quiet and pretty private! The place was clean and remodeled in the inside. Our first time booking an AIRBNB so we were nervous but we are so glad we did!

We LOVED IT!! Definitely coming back when the weather is nicer.

Had a great time with some friends at Candy’s property! She had helpful notes and cozy decorations all over the cabin, and we took full advantage of all the amenities she had to offer. We frequently saw ducks, swans, and other wildlife passing by and it was the perfect place to unwind and relax. Would definitely recommend to anyone that is looking to enjoy a weekend on the lake or take a breather from their busy lives! 🎣

Liz’s place was perfect. The house is beautiful and cozy. The location was very peaceful and beautiful. My family rented a pontoon from the Marina right down the road and were able to park it right at the dock when we were done tubing. My kids loved taking the paddle boat out into the channel to go fishing! And there are lots of turtles and frogs for the kids to catch and release.

we had an amazing time! The lake and wildlife were beautiful. The house is spacious and all the furniture was very comfortable. It was extremely clean. They had a ton of amenities we weren't expecting, like a griddle and spices. The only flaw in the whole trip was we had a 1am alarm go off and we couldn't contact anyone. Luckily we guessed the code! No one called us for a follow up the next day either. But other than that, it was the perfect trip!
