This has been, by far, my favorite Airbnb experience in Costa Rica—and I’ve been visiting this beautiful country for over two years. The property is stunning, surrounded by the most serene and peaceful nature, creating an atmosphere where you can fully relax and feel completely at home. Jose has poured so much thought and intention into every detail of this experience, elevating your stay beyond expectations. From the moment of booking to the warm welcome by Margarita, his incredible mother, the hospitality was nothing short of unforgettable. This place has truly been life-changing for me. And you must experience the culinary magic of Chef Jerry—his meals were beyond anything I’ve ever had, an absolute highlight of the stay. Go ahead and book this place—your life will thank you. Loved the house, very cosy and safe. Suerre is a quiet village, a great stop after 4hours of driving the stressing road. The river down the house makes the place very special, I hope to come there again. Eduardo was a great friendly host, thank you!

What a gorgeous gem this place is! My partner and I stayed here the night before a flight at SJO. It was a lovely end to our trip though truly wish we could have been there longer. The house is immaculate and the gardens are so lovely. It was pouring rain with intense winds so while we were glad to have arrived before dusk, we didn't want to risk leaving for dinner & left earlier the next day to ensure all was okay with the roads & narrow bridge required to arrive. Particularly if the weather looks good, don't hesitate to book!!

beautiful condo at the top of the hill. the road to get in is a dirt road, but clear instructions were provided. you are in a condo attached to the side of their personal residence, so there is someone there on site if needed. they also offer to provide a home cooked breakfast, lunch or dinner for a decent price. the bed was comfortable, and they even had games, cards, and a few streaming services. the view at night and in the morning was breathtaking. great place up out of the way from the busy city. you're pretty secluded up there, which is nice, but still easy access to the downtown for food if needed. about a 30 minute drive to the san jose airport.

This property was like walking through a poem. From the mountain sunsets, to the never ending butterflies, to the endless blue hydrangeas, just stunning. We brought our little kids and it was completely comfortable with everything we needed from a pack-n-play to a high chair. The kids will never forget this experience. The only negative thing I have to say is I detested driving in San Jose. We got stuck in stand still traffic and even got rear ended on our way to the property. That is of course not Bruno’s fault and when we arrived it was all well worth the trouble. One more word about the drive: The mountain drive is so so steep you’d be nuts to not use a 4 wheel drive car. Go there during daylight unless you’re used to driving in mountains. My favorite moments included sipping morning coffee while the pigeons flew circles above, chef Eduardo cooking a spectacular meal for my husband’s birthday, and Ronnie lighting the fireplace for us at night. This place belongs in a dream.

We felt very comfortable in Rocio's Airbnb on our stopover on the way to the Caribbean coast 😊 He proactively gave us many tips for the area and laid out fruits for us in the morning for breakfast so we could watch the birds eating.

This incredible home is just as it is listed. The views are extraordinary. The pool is not heated, but perfect for a hot day. The home does not have AC, but cools down well at night when the window screens are open and the fans made it a very comfortable nights sleep. It is very secluded with few neighbors. The distance to Atenas is about 8 minutes by car, but multiple dining establishments near by. Thank you, Wendy!

Michael and Mike’s place is a tranquil and beautiful refuge. We’ve been to Costa Rica a number of times but never to this area. We absolutely loved the Orosi Valley and the surrounding region. Our hosts were so welcoming and provided us with a wealth of information about places to go. We enjoyed hanging out with Michael and learning about their life in Costa Rica. He was very attentive and provided us with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We hope to return soon to their little paradise.

Stay was great. Lorena was very prompt in her response which we appreciated. The home is fully stocked with items needed to cook and also included laundry detergent, fabric softener. The location is very nice and in a quiet area with a beautiful view of the trees behind. We liked the little details of having the home decorated for the holidays as well! And the outdoor lights were nice :)

We had an incredible time. Safe and perfect place to disconnect, absolute silence, private area, spectacular view….The area is very nice. 10 minutes from many restaurants, cafes, supermarkets and everything you need. We will return as soon as possible, we loved it!

Andrés was a great host! Lots of excellent recommendations and proactive in making sure we arrived and were comfortable. This home is stunning! Such a gem and I loved the secluded location not far from a wonderful little area. We visited the caves and had dinner (recommended by Andrés), cooked breakfast at the villa and ate on the gorgeous deck surrounded by beautiful birds. Day two we visited the mountains, coffee farm and “the hand”… so fun! We had spent time in Quepos and this was a good change of pace. We very much enjoyed Ciudad Colon and Andrés Villa.
