Vacation rentals with lake access in La Plata County

We loved this property at Purgatory resort. We were here during off season so everything was quite but it is located just opposite to the resort entrance with option for free shuttle to the skiing area so that is plus especially since we prefer to stay in a homely environment instead of a resort. We had a Tesla and having a covered garage with a level 2 charger made the difference for us to choose this property (will need to have a J1772 to CCS adapter though). The surrounding is beautiful and its right on 550 in between Durango and Silverton so great location IMO. The house itself is very modern and cozy. Brian has been super responsive to queries throughout. We loved our stay and will consider again when we visit this area.

Tina’s home was the idyllic place we were looking for to get away from the world for a minute. The house is gorgeous and the lake was perfect. We were able to walk from the house to the lake for a swim or a paddle. I would love to stay here again!

Great location, near Purgatory. Quiet cabin in the woods overlooking a lake. It was beautiful when it snowed, and with 4 wheel drive had no trouble getting in and out. Our three daughters loved the loft area and DVD selection!

We loved staying at the lodge for our baby moon this March. Located in the perfect place to visit Pagosa Springs and Durango or hang out in Bayfield. We also took a day trip into Telluride and Silverton which made for a beautiful scenic drive! We got to experience sunshine and an unexpected snow storm which both made for beautiful surroundings at the house. The home was clean, cozy and SPACIOUS with plenty of things to make you feel right at home and all of the ameneties and then some one would need for a short or extended stay. My husband loved the upstairs game and pool table and walking to/ from the lake while I appreciated the kitchen and laundry access. There were other fun things we didn't use (fishing poles, sleds, etc) in the garage but would be nice to have if traveling with little ones. Devin was very responsive and friendly anytime I sent a message. We would 10/10 stay here again!

Michelle’s place blew us away. It was even better than the pictures. The kitchen was well stocked with everything one could imagine. The steam shower was a big hit for our group. And having a garage for a vehicle is a big bonus. Especially when it snows, as it did a lot during our stay. The master bedroom overlooks the highway and ski resort so you do hear the snow plows working away in the early morning hours. But hard to complain when it’s a powder day on the slopes😃

Great place for families with kiddos. Well stocked with everything you need.

Great spot for Christmas….it snowed Christmas morning!

The house was really great for the three familys that went with us. We cooked on the grill that was really great. Great kitchen appliances. Plenty of room for kids to play and hang out. Got to enjoy the snow with the big windows to look out at.
