Smoking friendly vacation rentals in La Mercy

Exactly what we wanted, somewhere to stay that was near the beach, affordable, clean and comfortable. This was better than our expectation. On arrival we were welcomed by the host Liesl who was extremly friendly and warm and made us feel very welcome. The place was super clean, the bed was so comfortable and everything was juts perfect. The host thought of everything from a beach bag we could use to an umbrella if it rained and we were even welcomed with tea, coffee and rusks. We highly recommend this place to stay as its nothing less than amazing and your stay will be perfect, right on the beach and tranquil. A perfect holiday stay.

Leslie's home was great. It was in a great location and Leslie was easy to get hold of when we had question. There were a couple of minor issues that were easily sorted out, like the location of the stove switch and the keys to one of the sliding doors. The only downside, had to do with the parking - there was something that dripped from the parking ceiling onto my windscreen and bonnet and I'm struggling to remove it.

I genuinely enjoyed my stay at Julie's, she was very kind, very helpful and had an absolute stunning place, perfect for my long weekend stay.

Jason’s place is exactly as the pics! It’s in a lovely little complex with a safe parking. Jason is constantly responsive and always ready to answer any questions needed.

My partner and I had a fantastic stay, The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Check-in was smooth, and the host was friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout. The location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. The amenities were great, especially the comfy bed and a fully stocked kitchen. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

I absolutely loved my stay in this unit. It tops most units I have stayed in the area. I’ll be back. The hosts are the best in the game! They keep the units super clean and aesthetically pleasing… honestly I was blown away!

Velly was very friendly and accommodating. the housekeeper was literally a phone call away. the apartment is conveniently situated and has everything one needs for a quick getaway. the staircase is very steep though and will not be ideal for someone who has mobility challenges. we had a very comfortable stay and it was excellent value for money.

Our stay at Cathy and Jono’s property exceeded our expectations. Cathy kept checking in on us while we were still on the way since the weather was not so favourable. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome, she had the heater on for us and gave us a guided tour of their stunning house that is beautifully designed and very spacious. Cathy and Jono went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. They were just a text/ phone call away whenever we needed something, and this truly made us feel valued as guests. Thank you for being such incredible hosts Cathy and Jono, this trip will always hold a special place in our hearts because of your warmth and hospitality. We cannot wait for our next visit!

The place is very nice and peaceful. Had a great time with them. Host were responsive and proactive. Really appreciated the fact that they gave us a late checkout without even asking. The only thing I would recommend is to keep their garden as neat as possible.

Paul and Lee were quick to respond and a pleasure to deal with, also gave great recommendations to nearby restaurants. The house is so cozy and outdoors beautiful and peaceful, just what we were looking for. Would highly recommend and amazing value for money. Will be back.

It was my first time using Airbnb, the house was well-equipped, especially for self-catering. It was clean upon arrival, and all rooms, the bathroom, and the kitchen remained impeccably clean throughout our stay. The hot water supply was excellent, and the security was reassuring. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The location was peaceful and uncrowded, approximately a seven-minute drive to the nearest mall, and a thirty-minute drive to South Beach. It's also a safe and suitable location for families with children. Clinton, the host, was exceptionally helpful and readily available whenever we needed assistance. He was particularly kind when my car experienced problems during our stay. Overall, our vacation was superb, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. One suggestion for improvement would be to widen the gate, as its current size may present difficulties for some drivers entering the premises.

It was an amazing stay at Alvins, walkable to the Gateway Mall, and very secure. I would definitely stay there again in my next trip to Umhalanga.

Had a blast at Michelle’s place! The location is perfect! Right where you want to be! So many beaches to choose from right in front of you're doorstep. The unit had everything we needed! Parking got a bit tricky in peak time, but thats understandable. Highly recommend!!

We had a lovely holiday and will be back! The location was perfect for everyone being right on the beach with restaurants and pubs in walking distance and shops close by. We LOVED the balcony and the amazing views.

We had a wonderful stay at Elaine's place. The home was cosy, with plenty of board games and books to enjoy. The views were stunning, and the location was excellent – an easy walk to Thompson's Beach. While we mostly visited Willard Beach, just a 5-minute drive away, the convenience of the location added to our experience. Though we overlooked the absence of a washing machine, Elaine provided details of nearby laundry services, which worked out perfectly. On arrival, the essentials provided were more than enough and made settling in stress-free. Elaine went above and beyond with thoughtful touches and was always responsive and helpful. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and her support throughout made our stay so enjoyable. Apologies again for losing all the tennis balls! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it. Thank you, Elaine, for making our trip memorable!
