We were in the area for a wedding and enjoyed the cottage before and after the event. Upon arrival, a basket filled with sweets awaited us: chocolate, cake, wine, cheese and bottles of wine, and we were very touched by this attention. We were able to enjoy the hot tub, there was also a ping pong table, in short, enough to pass the time. Despite the rainy weather we were able to enjoy the garden furniture during a clearing… In addition, Hannah was always available to communicate with us when needed but we did not have the chance to meet her in person and I hope we will have the opportunity one day. In short, I highly recommend this lovely cottage where it's nice to stay. Valerie and Daniel

The cabin leaves plenty of space around the bed. For us, only a coffee maker was missing. In our case it was a stopover night so perfect. The garden is adorable and leaves privacy. The bathrooms are outside as expected and very well thought out nevertheless I thought them closer to the cabin (a little tricky when it rains (it was not our case)). Sabrina welcomed us with kindness:)

That's someone who knows how to host! Maxine is adorable. The accommodation is very cozy and pleasant despite the main room which is not very bright. The stove heats very well, good quality bedding, impeccable cleaning. Possibility of horseback riding or hiking nearby. The area is very quiet and the locals are very nice. Thanks for everything.

This place is beautiful! It is spacious, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The setting is private and peaceful, but just a short drive from a lovely village with a grocery store, bakery and small restaurant. Our host was extremely kind and helpful, quick to respond to any questions. We would happily stay here again.

Exceptional stay!! 😍😍😍 The house and the property are even more amazing in real life than in photos even if these are still very attractive already... Hosts are proactive, warm and available while being discreet. The biquettes will undoubtedly appeal to young and old alike. Our next stay is already in preparation and the place is all found. Thank you again for your hospitality and for this beautiful discovery.

Debbie & Guy are absolutely adorable. Looks like they've thought of everything to make you feel at home. Numerous activities are available: pétanque, mini-golf, foosball and of course swimming pool. La Grande Cheminée is a very quiet and warm place 1 hour from Mont Saint-Michel. In short, I highly recommend it!!! 👍❤️😊

If airbnb could create a 6th star, Norbert would definitely deserve it! we loved this stay, the highlights: - upstream communication with explanations to find the accommodation (photo by text) - excellent hospitality with real attention from Norbert - clean accommodation and the decor is (according to our taste) awesome! - The place is peaceful and relaxing - the wood stove guarantees pleasant and cozy evenings - Our host remained available for the entire stay. Very authentic, beautifully renovated longiere in northern Brittany. It is a great location to visit Ille-et-Vilaine, northern Brittany and Normandy, including Mont Saint-Michel, and St. Malo. You have all the essentials for a relaxing vacation: soft mattress, warm, steady shower, ambient fireplace, cozy kitchen and pretty garden. Located in a little hamlet, it is quiet yet close to small towns, grocery store, gas station and restaurants. We ate out several times only a few miles from the home. We would definitely recommend a stay at Dagmar & Guy’s nice home!
