The apartment is comfortable for two people, independent, although it is in a building where other people live. Very safe, it's in an interior patio. The kitchen is a good size, equipped, stocked with the basics for cooking; nice touch on arrival to have the first breakfast ready. The bedroom is good, with space to hang clothes, a soft mattress, you can rest peacefully without any noise. There are no curtains to block out the night light, but we improvised. The dining room and living room fulfill their function. The bathroom is a good size, with a shower with abundant water flow, and they provide towels and a hairdryer. Overall, a good place. One drawback in hot weather (April, May) is that there is no ventilation, and the apartment heats up. There's no way to ventilate the bedroom at night. We have a fan. The owner is very attentive and kind. He was always available to us for the two weeks. Yes, I recommend this stay.

The rooms that Juan Manuel offers are quite spacious- our room had four beds. The dimmable lights and fan were very good touches. Also, the room was very clean. The location is on the outskirts of town, which was perfect for what we needed. For us it was not obvious how the check-in worked, but Juan Manuel responded quickly with helpful instructions. Thank you Juan Manuel and his team.

You have to stay here. The single best Airbnb experience ever. The listing doesn’t do it justice. The cabin has loads of space and plenty of privacy from the rest of the farm, also a hot tub and shower en-suite!Rosario was so welcoming, she gave us a fascinating tour of the farm and Mezcal making. Included in the price was a Mezcal tasting session, where we were offered 11 (!!) different types, all made on the farm. There was no pressure to buy anything, but we bought two different bottles to take home. We were also served a huge fresh dinner and then a delicious breakfast the next morning, again all included in the price - such great value! WiFi available. There is a lovely 1 hour circular walk around the hills, easily marked on Google Maps. It was the most idyllic, peaceful, and enjoyable experience of our trip. Would recommend driving and arriving there early in the day, so really make the most of it.

The place is very comfortable, the photos do not help much, but it is much more comfortable and beautiful than what you see.

Jorge's place was great. Really lovely couple. Really regret we were just passing through Miahuatlán and didn't stay for the Mescal night (looked great though) we had a long bus ride the following morning. Jorge gave us a bottle of Mescal so we didn't miss out (and it is delicious). Seems like they have a good project on, would have loved to have been involved. Slept well, comfortable bed. Very central location. Great hosts.

We were very welcomed by Anatolia and her charming attention was impeccable We would love coming back to stay again in her home.

I had a great time the first time around staying with Daniel (who was very responsive and helpful when I was initially mislead by Google Maps about the exact location, and welcomed me with a cold bottle of Coca-Cola and a liter of bottled water), partying all night with all the absolutely lovely people in Zimatlán de Álvarez, then comfortably sleeping and refreshing myself a bit. When I learned there was another night of "muerteadas" the next weekend, of course I came back to the exact same place for another great night of parties all over the village (with lots of 'old' new friends from the week before, and lots of even more new friends), again relying on this basic yet excellent place to comfortably recover before travelling onward to the next village for the next party. Notably positive for price: +++ Quiet enough for sleeping late at night, even though it seems there are loud parties going on all over the village +++ Shower gets hot quickly +++ Room on street level (no stairs)
