Family-friendly vacation rentals in La Alpujarra

This was a beautiful stay—location was stunning, and place was super clean and organized. You will feel like you’re in the mix here and not at a sterile hotel with sanitized experiences. The only thing I would make note of is not a knock on the place at all—but if you have not been to Grenada before, be aware that you must be very agile and able to navigate lots of stairs and levels to stay in Grenada as a whole. We absolutely loved it, but if I were traveling with my older parents, I would be attentive in Grenada to choosing a location to stay that isn’t in the hills. Book this place—it’s lovely! The terrace was our favorite!

Un super séjour dans cette maison, tout y est pour passer de bonnes vacances. La piscine très agréable, le jacuzzi relaxant, une jolie vue dans un environnement calme. Katia nous a bien accueillis et Victor est toujours réactif aux messages. La côte est raide effectivement mais Fred qui est sportif, l’a faite sans problème (perso, j’ai préféré envisager la voiture). Tout était parfait. On pourrait envisager de revenir sans problème.

Probably the best AirBnB we have ever stayed. And I’ve stayed in a lot. Beautiful place, lovely attentive hosts but they also keep a distance. Offered to take us to supermarket twice. Gave recommendations of where to go in Granada, restaurants etc. Super place, we will be back.

Vi hyrde Raquels vackra hus en vecka, för semester med familjen. Utsikten från altanen är makalöst vacker! Vi hade tillgång till pool och jacuzzi, vilket kändes oerhört lyxigt. Huset hade alla tänkbara bekvämligheter. Både Raquel och hennes syster var lätta att kommunicera med. Svarade snabbt och tydligt samt gav jättebra rekommendationer om lokala restauranger och annat. Vi stortrivdes i detta fantastiska hus och med Raquel som värd. Rekommenderar starkt en vistelse här! Vi kommer garanterat tillbaka!

It's very nice villa with all the amenities that the family needs. There were even spices and other things left in the kitchen. Very handy. The drive is up the hill and I would not recommend to walk there, especially with children. There is a lot of space in the house and the outdoor area is amazing. The jacuzzi is a plus as the swimming pool was too cold to use in April. Almuñécar is not very busy yet as it's not holiday time in Spain, again it's a plus.I would highly recommend El Caminito del Rey and the cave in Nerja if you like outdoor adventures with your family

Wir waren mit neun Freunden in dieser Villa und rundum zufrieden! Alles war wie beschrieben und auf den Bildern zu sehen – sauber, großzügig und gut ausgestattet. Der Außenpool war im Winter nicht beheizt, aber der Whirlpool war super und hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Besonders der Raum mit dem Whirlpool hat uns begeistert. Die Villa bietet viel Platz mit zwei Küchen und zahlreichen Badezimmern, ideal für eine größere Gruppe. Das Grundstück ist komplett eingezäunt, was mit unseren beiden Hunden perfekt war (die wir gegen einen Aufpreis mitbringen durften – danke dafür!). Die Lage eignet sich hervorragend für sportliche Aktivitäten wie Wandern und Klettern, und Granada ist nicht weit. Aber eigentlich muss man die Villa gar nicht verlassen, da sie perfekt zum Verweilen ist. Wir konnten Tischtennis spielen und einfach entspannen. Eine traumhafte Unterkunft – absolut empfehlenswert!

Carmen’s house is the best Airbnb our family has ever stayed in. Not only is it a gorgeous home, but it was also well stocked and immaculately clean. Carmen was so kind and easy to communicate with. Prior to our arrival, she suggested a few places to see a flamenco show so we could make reservations in advance. When we arrived, she met us at her place, gave us instructions on how to use everything, and provided us with maps and information on how to travel throughout Granada. She even provided us with fruit from one of her trees, milk, cereal, snacks, coffee, tea, and some other items. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer! We would definitely stay at Carmen’s house again.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement à Otura à l'occasion d'une réunion de famille. Nous étions 6 adultes et 5 enfants et nous sommes sentis à notre aise. L'hôte a même fourni 2 lits bébé et 2 chaises hautes pour nous. La communication était très facile. La proximité de Granada est parfaite si vous avez une voiture, et la vue sur la Sierra Nevada est un plus! Seul bémol: la cuisine est un peu petite pour le nombre que nous étions mais nous avons quand même pu bien nous débrouiller. La piscine est propre et non chauffée - mais cela n'a pas empêché les enfants de bien en profiter. Merci encore pour un super séjour. Nous recommandons fortement ce logement.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Jorge ist ein vorbildlicher und fürsorglicher Gastgeber, absolut top. Er hat alles perfekt organisiert für unsere Ankunft. Lidia, die Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort, hat uns sehr gut eingewiesen, ihre Tipps waren wertvoll und haben uns sehr geholfen. Die Wohnung ist top sauber, warm/ kalt klimatisiert in allen Räumen. Internetverbindung stabil, alle Geräte funktionieren. Vom Balkon hat man den Strand und Felsen von Salobreña im Blick. Die Lage im Ort auf halber Höhe von Salobreña war für uns optimal. Auf dem Fußweg zum Strand bietet sich ein atemberaubendes Panorama über die Küste und Berge und ein Blick in das Amphitheater. Die Burg auf dem Gipfel bietet einen wunderschönen Rundumblick über Salobreña und das Delta des Guadalfeo. Beides ist nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. 5 Sterne, jederzeit wieder.

Wir waren vier Tage in dieser schönen Unterkunft. Das Dorf ist abgelegen und nur über eine holprige Straße erreichbar. Dafür ist man in einem wunderschönen Wandergebiet und hat ein tolles Haus fernab vom Trubel. Gleich nebenan ist ein kleines Restaurant mit netten belgischen Inhaber. Es ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Insgesamt große Empfehlung.

Very happy with our stay. Monica was great at communicating and answered any questions very quickly. Pool was awesome. Only 1 small downside - air conditioning unit outside main bedroom was a bit noisy. Coffee machine and pool were great! Also some floats for the sea were handy! We would definitely come back. Logement charmant dans un petit village tranquille près de Grenade (environ 20 minutes de voiture)! Parfait pour relaxer en dehors de la grande ville! La jolie cours avec vu sur les montagnes et la piscine pour se rafraîchir à été un coup de coeur! Les lits sont très confortables! Les propriétaires sont aux petits soins! Joaquin est venu nous chercher en ville pour nous accompagner plus facilement à la maison et avec son épouse nous on expliquer la maison! Ils sont très discret!

집 주인은 아름답고 친절했습니다. 많은 시간을 할애해서, 주변에 즐길거리와 명소를 설명해줬어요. 중간에 세탁 건조기를 어찌 사용해야 될지 몰라 당황했는데, 문자로 바로 질문에 응답했어요. 만일 그라나에 다시 온다면 꼭 다시 이 숙소에 묵고 싶어요. 물론 주인이 그대로인 가정하에서입니다. 알함브라 궁전도 아름다웠지만, 그것은 생명이 없는 건축물일 뿐이에요. 그러나 이 집의 주인은 살아 있는 아름다움 그 자체였어요

Ha sido una estancia estupenda. La casa limpia y ordenada y muy amplia. Disponía de todo lo necesario. Lo mejor que tiene parking ya q es una zona donde es difícil aparcar. Juan Luis muy amable y atento. Si visitáis almeria lo recomiendo ya que esta cerca del centro.

Great appartment, close to the beach and with an amazing view from both terraces/balconies.

Karlien’s home was a fabulous find. We were two families sharing the accommodation and the space was perfect. Large comfy bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living space was ample and kitchen well equipped. The pool, outdoor space and roof terrace were excellent and there was always somewhere lovely to sit in the sun or shade. Nerja is very hilly so expect a walk uphill back from the beach but it only takes 10 minutes. Karlien was excellent allowing us an early check in and greeting us at the property. We would definitely stay again.

This was our first time spending a month abroad. It took a long time to find the 'right' property for our stay. We wanted something that had a welcome homely feel as well as a great location and Erlend's place was perfect! The apartment was wonderful. So many thoughtful touches and everything you could need was there. We loved the outside spaces but didn't get to use them as much as we would've liked due to bad weather. On warm sunny days, the terrace would be a perfect place to sit. The views from the apartment were lovely. We found the location to be perfect for us. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance and the lovely promenade by the sea. I have lung issues & yet managed the hill up to the accommodation every day. The lifts in the complex were very welcome. Erlend also very kindly accommodated a specific request I had & I was very grateful for that. Communication with our host was great Erlend's place felt like a home from home & we would love to come back again soon.

Todo muy bien. Es un lugar maravilloso y tranquilo. Muy limpio el alojamiento y muy correcta la anfitriona, sin duda repetiré.

La casa es muy bonita y lo mejor son las vistas. Esta bien equipada y la comunicación con los anfitriones fue muy buena.

Marianne is a great host. the house is amazing. it offers everything and it is well equipped. If your are looking for a quiet place to calm down with a great view, this is it. you are also pretty fast in Granada, malaga and marbella or at some of the nice beaches. Marianne takes so much care of the house, the private pool and all the plants which make it a lovely green place with a stunning view! the communication is also very easy and extremly friendly.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und absolut ausreichend für zwei Personen. Elena hat uns herzlich begrüßt und uns die Wohnung gezeigt. Wir haben uns wie zuhause gefühlt mit einer tollen Aussicht auf die Gegend bis zum Meer herunter. Wir würden immer wieder kommen!

Great view and apartment. Need a car to reach it though. 5 mins aways from the center by car.
