The Green Wombat is a beautifully designed off-grid tiny home tucked into bushland where apple orchards meet ancient wilderness. Perched on the edge of Wollemi and Blue Mountains National Parks, this eco conscious retreat is crafted for those who crave simplicity, serenity, sustainability and comfort - just minutes from Bilpin's orchards, cellar doors and bushwalking trails.

The space
Step into the Green Wombat - your eco escape to relax, unwind and reconnect with nature.

This thoughtfully designed off-grid tiny home blends sustainability with comfort. Nestled in bushland, surrounded by birdsong and eucalypts offering a peaceful retreat powered by the sun and sustained by rainwater.

Inside, open plan living flows from a cozy lounge and dining area to a fully equiped kitchen (with fresh sour dough and farm fresh eggs included on arrival). The kitchen has a 2 burner induction cook top, oven , microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee machine and pods, fridge and dishwasher.

The bedroom has a queen sized bed where you wake up to the sounds of birdsong. Lay in bed and gaze at nature or walk out onto the covered deck to sip coffee or head to the fire pit - perfect for slow afternoons, stargazing, or if you are lucky, you might spot the visiting wombat!

The bathroom features a walk in shower and waterless composting toilet, designed to reduce environmental impact while keeping things comfortable and easy to use.

The Green Wombat is a sustainable retreat close to nature and local attractions, perfect for couples and solo travellers who are looking to unwind and unplug.

Guest access
The Green Wombat is accessed by a private 150m driveway.

You will have access to the entire tiny home and surrounding garden area with fire pit.

Other things to note
The Green Wombat is a completely off-grid retreat - solar and battery powered only.

There is a rain water tank to supply water (no mains water).

The toilet is a waterless composting toilet.

No Wifi - We cannot bring ourselves to get in bed with Elon so there is no wifi however there is decent mobile phone service with most carriers.

There is a TV however there is no TV service (yet). If you are desperate - you can connect your phone to the TV and stream from your phone - but we suggest you skip the TV and reconnect with nature.

There is a single step to access the front deck and 4 steps from the rear deck (which can also be accessed from the bedroom).

There are resident chooks on the property.

The Green Wombat is not pet friendly.
We have a strict no pets policy to protect the birdlife, native animals and our visiting wombat.

The fire pit is not available in adverse weather conditions - such as during fire bans or winds due to the bushland location.
