Located a few steps away from the beach and right next to a surf beach and the national park, In the tranquil town of La Bocana, our little, rustic chic beach casita will be perfect to relax and connect with nature , a short walk to the Copalita river mouth, home to different species of birds and wild life with stunning views of the Sierra Madre.

The space
Cozy 26 sqm rustic-chic beach casita, perfect for a couple, clean and bright.
Furnished with a comfortable queen size bed with good linens, air conditioning, a well equipped kitchenette, a small patio where you can relax at night listening to the ocean and a jungle decor bathroom.
You will be just a few steps from the most spectacular and wild beach in Huatulco and a 10 minutes walk to the Copalita river estuary which is perfect to swim during most part of the year.

La Bocana is becoming the hip town in Huatulco, there are some constructions in the neighborhood, expect some noises during weekdays.
Bahias de Huatulco has a subtropical climate, while this provides incredible beauty and natural wonders from the sky to sea, it also means that heat, humidity and sudden tropical squalls are common occurrences especially in summer season.
Living on a beach surrounded by jungle also means an abundance of Geckos, Iguanas, insects and land crabs.

La Bocana is the only surf beach in Huatulco, perfect for walks and being in close contact with nature, up until recently was a rustic sleepy little town, now is becoming the most desirable place to be. You’ll find the most famous cooking school of Huatulco “ Wahaca Cooking” where you can book a 1 day class choosing from a menu of 9 different classes, a surf school just across the road, where you can also rent boards, a little SPA center called “Nelvi’s Spa” where you can treat yourself to some relaxing massages, there are currently 3 restaurants, 2 right in the beach, which serve simple but tasty dishes and 1 restaurant in the hotel in front of our property, “ Casa Bocana” where you can find a more upscale environment and food. Also there’s a little, funky bar right on the beach specialized in Mezcal called “ Quereme Mucho”, if you like to explore the nearby eco- archeological park, the entrance is at 5 minutes from our place. To finish, if you would like to explore the close little village of Copalita, is a 5 minutes drive from us and you can find rustic little gems where to eat delicious food, such as the restaurant “ Chacal”

We are Chiara & Alfredo, Alfredo is a Huatulco native chef, I am a realtor, italian and together we run our 3 little casitas, our cooking school “Wahaca Cooking” and our restaurant “ Alfredo’s Restaurant Bar”. We love living in La Bocana, enjoy our beach walks, go to the river, which is aprox 10 minutes from our house, swim, surf and overall the quiteness and peace that a place like this offers. As I always say: Welcome to Paradise.
