The Cape Miles Retreat is a welcoming large open concept cottage featuring four spacious bedrooms, a large great room, cathedral ceilings, with beautiful finishings, and a hot tub.
The space
Spacious, and stylish this cottage offers a unique experience to all guests. This large floor plan has a four bedroom, two bathroom layout with tasteful decor, and thoughtful finishings. The main floor has three spacious bedrooms, and one bathroom. There are large patio doors located right off the kitchen, leading out to a double patio deck that is perfect for entertaining in larger groups.
On the upper level, you will take the rustic spiral stairs up to the master bedroom, with ensuite bathroom. You will experience stunning cathedral ceilings, a wrap around banister, and beautiful skylights that fill the room with rays of sunshine. Additionally, there are sliding doors that lead out to the second level of the double patio, perfect for watching the sunrise with a morning coffee.
Located directly outside of the cottage is a small opening to Lake Huron. Travel down the trail to a beautiful oasis, on the end of a dead-end road. The clearing has fantastic glacier meltwater channel, leading to the beautiful shores of Lake Huron. Explore and appreciate the tall trees, unique rock clearings, and turquoise water when you spend the day at this stunning hidden gem!
The Cape Miles Retreat backs onto a forest, making it the most ideal location for travel. With the large double patio, hot tub, outdoor games, and patio furniture you will spend your days making memories here!
It is surrounded by tall, mature cedar trees, creating a cozy, quiet and extremely private setting. This meticulously maintained cottage has a large area for entertaining, and enough foliage for a complete picturesque view of the true Tobermory experience.
The cottage is a short drive to all amenities (5 minutes), making it the most ideal location. Experience the rock pillars, caves, historic light station and rare hiking trails. Come enjoy the tranquil setting, while being close to restaurants, shops, groceries & more! You are a short stroll to
the Chi-Cheemaun, shipwrecks, scuba diving, kayaking & the LCBO. Enjoy a short drive or hike to Big Tub Lighthouse, National Parks, the Grotto, Singing Sands & other treasures of the Northern Bruce.
We are offering an exclusive service to every guest as an add on feature to ensure we provide a stress free vacation to all of our guests. As an add on service you can pre order all of your groceries before your arrival. We will purchase all items on the list, as well as put everything away in the cottage before your arrival. This helps provide a worry free check in experience, so you can start your vacation immediately upon arrival.

The guests will have access to the entire cottage, as well as the property. We want all guests to feel at home during their stay. When checking in to the cottage, guests will use a self-check in method for ease. We will always be available if guests have any issues checking in, but we have made the process as swift as possible.

We have a great relationship within the community, and we ask that you uphold this during your stay. Please respect the cottage, and take care of it as if it were your own. Make yourself at home, and enjoy your vacation!
To ensure all guests have a clean and enjoyable experience, we kindly ask that you do not use lotions, perfumes, tanning solutions, oils, or any body products before entering the hot tub, as these can cause severe damage to the water and filtration system. Additionally, food, drinks, or any liquids should not be brought into the hot tub, and glassware is strictly prohibited. For health and safety reasons, vomiting, spitting, or releasing any bodily fluids into the hot tub is not allowed. If the hot tub requires draining, deep cleaning, refilling, and rebalancing due to improper use, a $500 fee will be charged to cover maintenance, chemicals, and water replacement. Our hot tubs are maintained regularly and always checked on the day of check-in to ensure they are clean and safe for travelers. Photos are taken on the day of arrival to document the hot tub's condition, allowing us to hold guests accountable if the rules are not followed. To avoid additional charges, please shower before use, allow any sunscreen or bug spray to fully absorb before entering, and avoid excessive alcohol consumption, which increases the risk of spills and sickness. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping the hot tub clean and ready for all guests to enjoy. If you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out.
