The perfect getaway for 1 or 2 families. Car recommend.This 3 bed house with two rooms king size beds and third bedroom with single beds. The house overlooks Killahoey strand and Dunfanaghy links golf course
This home can be linked for dates with Six@Six house to rear. Total guests 12.

Nearby is the Cove restaurant and Dunfanaghy village, all which are within walking distance. A short drive will take you to Marble Hill beaches, the Shandon Hotel and the Shack coffee shed.
A car is recommended

The space
Downstairs compromises of a large semi open plan kitchen, dinning and living. There is a large dinning table allowing for great socialising. The living area has 2 large comfortable sofas, a log burning stove. The living area and all bedrooms are fitted with televisions which have access to both UK and Irish channels. The house also has a utility room containing a small freezer, small second fridge, a washing machine and a tumble dryer.

The back garden has a shed and a small patio area with a table and chairs.

Guest access
All the space in the home is available to guests with the exception of the 3 overhead cupboards in the downstairs w/c which are owners only cupboards.

Guests are welcome to use everything in the house and garden shed, all that is asked is everything is put back in place when leaving. Key to shed is located in cupboard at back door on hook inside cupboard at door.

Other things to note
Please note this is self catering accommodation. Guests should note that recycling is encouraged. Recycling facilities are located in the local village square. Glass bottles and tin cans should be deposited here and not in house hold waste.
The blue bin located in the back area of the house is used for general waste, the red bin is recycle only plastic, cardboard only. If wrong items are placed in bin a 50€ charge will be applied.
A minimum supply of essentials toiletries will be available on arrival (toilet rolls , kitchen roll and pump soap). Guests are reminded to provide their own during their stay.

Dunfanaghy / Portnaghblagh is a quiet area of Donegal. Most people come for the wide range of local scenery … Horn Head cliffs , golden sandy beaches , Ards Forest Park with nature trails and coffee stop..... the village offers a wide range of restaurants ... one very popular stop is the Rusty Oven for pizza and fun.

Local History: Visitor Centre at Dunfanaghy Workhouse

Walking: Country lane walking and Beech walks.

Ards Forrest Walks
Tramore beach walk, accessible from Horn Head Bridge

Golf: There is a very good Links course on the eastern side of the village. Prices are available by contacting them direct.

Horse Riding and Pony Trekking
Dunfanaghy Stables off all sorts of options, horses and ponies and amazing trails.

Water Sports (Surfing, Canoeing, Sailing) There are two shops in town (Narosa, Jaws) where equipment and instruction is provided. Children's camp also available at holiday times. Booking direct with shops.

I love the Dunfanaghy/Portnablagh area it is great for family time and fun. This area has provided me with many family holidays and memories. My holiday home provides a perfect place to relax and enjoy the delights of the surrounding area.
