Share a comfortable single level family home with colourful garden and easy walking access to local Hilltop shopping. Choose a large queen room with a picture window looking over the garden to the lake and its own bathroom, or the twin room with a shared bathroom. Enjoy the view, take time in the garden or rest up on the sheltered deck. Daily morning paper. Access to the town and the lake are only a few minutes drive away with a wide range of recreational activities and dining options.

Other things to note
In the first year of operating my b 'b guests have been to 2 summer concerts, a junior rugby tournament, motorbike & car racing, participated in the Ironman race, visited the Aiatiatia Rapids, the Craters of the Moon, the Huka Falls, De Bretts, AC & Wairakei hot pools, been sky diving, visited the Whakapapa alpine village & went on the gondala, undertaken the Tongariro Crossing, Ironman, an alpine helicopter tour, the Huka Falls Cruise and eaten in numerous restaurants and cafes including McDonalds with the aeroplane!

I think a stay of two nights enables guests to visit Taupo attractions. Those who come one evening & leave next morning hardly experience anything.
