The large swimming pool area offers a tranquil space to bathe, relax and enjoy incredible views of the sunset over the ocean.

We are located in Playa Gigante, Nicaragua, on the beautiful Emerald Coast. Our 3 acre hotel grounds offer spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean. We offer comfortable rooms, all with private bathrooms, ceiling fans, A/C, shared kitchenette, beautiful large swimming pool, jungle walks, plus free wifi and secure parking.

Guest access
Guests can relax in nature and walk the 3 acre hotel grounds. Enjoy the swimming pool and communal terrace which is nestled amongst the trees! There is a communal kitchenette to prepare your own meals. Brio is a place to disconnect from life's stresses, and reconnect with nature!

Brio offers spectacular views of the Pacific, nearly three acres of private grounds and a gorgeous swimming pool area. Just a short walk to several beaches, and a strong commitment to wellness and environmental sustainability. We are close to one of the highest concentrations of world class surf breaks in the Americas. Walk to one of the most consistent barrel-makers on the continent (Playa Colorado) or be first in the water at one of the best left point breaks you will ever surf (Manzanillo). And yes, it is true what they say about the offshore winds here...mind-blowing!

Where you’ll be

Playa Gigante, Rivas Department, Nicaragua

Playa Gigante is a small, rustic fishing village. The locals love to welcome everyone with big smiles. The pigs, goats, chickens and cows walk the dusty roads. The beaches are long and beautiful. There are a few small shops, restaurants and bars. You can hike Giant's Foot, go fishing with the local fishermen or rent a surfboard to play in the waves all day!
