Guest House Agae is a renovated traditional house that can only accommodate one group at a time. It is in a very convenient location, about 550 m (about 7 minutes on foot) to Kumano Kodo and Kinkou Oji, a supermarket (A-COOP), a bus stop (Kodo Aruki no Sato Chikatsuyu), and restaurants (Shoji Teahouse and Tororo-ya). The owner is a local Kumano Kodo guide, so we will do our best to accommodate your questions and advice about walking the Kumano Kodo, as well as pick-up and drop-off when you need it. We can also provide personal guides, so please let us know. Prices do not include meals. It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area.Also I provide two bikes at the house. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. Also, flexible handling on the day I was very satisfied. The cleaning of the room was also done I felt the hospitality in every detail. ▪️-Facility There are three points worth noting (1) Location Surrounded by mandarin orange fields It was a lush environment. The scent of the seasonal flowers that were in bloom during my visit It's fluffy I was able to relax from my sense of smell. We visited in mid-May I recommend this season!! Also, without any trouble buying ingredients It is about a 10-minute drive to the local supermarket, Delishas. They have a good selection, and they also sell Arita beef by weight I recommend it when using this facility! (2) Sauna Barrel sauna set to 110°C Keep the sauna at 90°C or higher The humidity was 50-60%. There is no heater in the water bath, but Maybe it's because of the comfortable breeze I cleaned it up. Also, the shower (including soap) is internal The fact that you can use the sauna without having to bathe first Understood the user's feelings It was a nice facility!! Our host was really helpful, he came pick us up at the train station and took us to a restaurant 15min away by car. He also took us to a convenience store nearby so we could go grocery shopping before sleeping. He suggested his help all along and was very friendly. The house itself was super clean, convenient and comfortable. We only wish we could have enjoyed it a bit more ! Thank you very much for a wonderful experience !
