Stay in a Novel. A retreat next to World Heritage

Our house is called Kamikura-Hideaway. It is a small 50-year-old house located at the foot of Kamikura Shrine. Contemporary artist Fulbrn revived it as the art piece "Narrative Space." Since this house once served as a geologist's hideaway, bits of history are scattered throughout the building. Our uniqueness has even been featured in the travel media AFAR, reflecting our commitment to a memorable guest experience. We hope you will enjoy touching someone's story "floating" around the room.

静かな地でゆったりと休養、ネットで仕事も、小グループで合宿も、お子さんと川遊びもできます。＊一軒家貸しですが、維持管理のため、管理者が滞在する（別室にて）時期があります。子育て支援としまして、12歳未満のお子さんは大人の半額、2歳未満は無料です。＊お手数ですが、ご予約前にお問い合わせにて、お子さんの年齢をお知らせください。熊野古道めぐりの宿としても利用されています。熊野本宮大社まで車で４０分熊野速玉大社５０分熊野那智大社１００分です。近くにはコンビニもお店もありませんので、食品等をご用意ください。山道に入りますと、道幅が狭くなりますので、運転には十分ご注意ください。春：桜、鶯、メジロが賑わいます。川からは河鹿の鳴き声がひときわ目立っています。５月連休頃はお茶摘み体験できます。夏：6月、蛍が飛び交い、二階の和室からの蛍鑑賞は、贅沢感溢れます。アユ釣り解禁。バーベキューセットもあります。秋、宿の前のもみじはちょっとした名所になっています。冬：寒いです。コタツでひねもすのたりかな？近くのお湯の口温泉で温まるのもいいですよ。

1 minute walk from Shingu Station. 2 minutes from the bus stop. It is a Japanese-style house with a small Japanese courtyard. You can try on valuable samurai armor, helmets, and bridal gowns (kimono)for free. The house is reserved for a group of 3 or more people per day. Please relax as if you were at home. We usually accept up to 8 people, but we can accommodate up to 10 people on request. There is a convenience store in front of the house, which is very convenient.

"Genki House", a house near Kumano Hongu-Taisha

It’s a house 8km from the Hongu Taisha. (about 15 minutes' drive) If you have a car it's more convenient, but if not I'll be happy to drive you to and from a bus stop or a tourism spot in Hongu area.Also I provide two bikes at the house. My family run an organic farm, bakery, NPO offering long-stay for the youth, and an alternative school for children nearby. You'll have some loaves of bread from our bakery(^^)/ （If you don't eat bread please let me know beforehand)
