Explore & take long walks to enjoy the environment, native flora & vibe of the local area. Long Reef Beach Nature Reserve is a short stroll north, or head south to Curl Curl & Freshwater Beaches. Whilst staying at Banksia there is little need to have a vehicle as you can walk to the beach, cafes, restaurants & supermarkets. The bus stop is just at the end of the laneway on Griffin Rd. You might like to take a short bus ride into Manly where you can hop on a ferry to take you across to the City & Bondi - if you are so inclined to venture to the 'dark side'. Situated between the lovely waterways of Pittwater and Avalon Beach. Paradise Beach, on Pittwater, is a 15 min walk with no parking. Clareville Beach also close by, has amenities and paid parking. Avalon village has a cinema, cafes, restaurants and interesting shops.

Situated 40 metres from the creek in the beautiful fishing village of Patonga. We are a 5 minute walk to the beach. The Boathouse Hotel with it's renowned restaurant, fish and chip shop is a 5 minute walk away. With many magnificent bush walks, fishing, swimming, kayaking, cycling or just relaxing by the creek and watching the tide come in and out there is something for everyone. Just an hour and a half by car from Sydney or 30 minutes by ferry from Palm Beach.
