Vacation rentals in Krøttøya

We had an unforgettable time at Steinvoll with two amazing hosts (Stine and Per Gunnar), the dog Tuva and a lot of sheep! We appreciate that the hosts spent time with us and we learned a lot about Norway, its culture and history. The bed was very comfortable and the view from the dining room was breathtaking. If anything is missing, the hosts will help and provide you with it. We borrowed snowsuits and shoe covers.

Very welcoming host who facilitated as we had some challenges with earlier check in than normal. Was greeted by a clean and neat apartment where it was prepared with bed linen, towels and such for the five of us. The apartment was well equipped and we had everything we needed for our stay. Not far to walk/drive to Kanebogen Senteret. Can safely be recommended!

Wonderful place to start our road trip across the Fjords! 30 minutes from an airport, very private and peaceful, beach access for sea bath was outstanding refreshing! Comfortable beds, great water pressure and temperature along with a stocked kitchen appliances/utensils made for a relaxing stay. (since we couldn’t find open restaurants close by) Jahn and he son were very friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed!

Cozy and comfortable! The cabin exceeded our expectations with its stunning view and thoughtful amenities. Everything we needed was provided, making our stay effortless. The sauna was an absolute highlight, especially in the chilly weather-it added a perfect touch of relaxation. We left feeling rested and rejuvenated. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

Beautiful cabin with amazing views, rustic and comfy decor, and stocked with everything you could need and some nice extras. I wish we could’ve spent more time here but it’ll be on our list for our next trip!

We felt incredibly comfortable with Beate and Håvard. The place is decorated and designed with as much love as we have rarely seen before. You could feel right at home. The view from the living room is an absolute dream in any weather and we were also able to observe many animals. We're sure this wasn't the first and only time to come here. And next to the beautiful cabin, we are more than enthusiastic about Beate and Håvard. They are incredibly helpful, accommodating but above all heartfelt and hospitable people. Thank you for letting us feel at home with you.

We are absolutely satisfied with the stay! Very nice house with a great view. Perfect as a starting point for tours on Senja or for a quiet time with observation of the sea or in the evening the northern lights. Thank you!

Our first vacation with airbnb und we decided to work on our bucket list and went to Norway into the cabin of Finn Olav and Marianne. The journey to the cabin via car was an adventure on its own – And you have to take some time for it. When we arrived we were amazed by the view and the sea. It was absolutely gorgeous – The only thing you could sense was the peace of the place and sometimes the roar of the sea. We really feeled welcome in the cabin, we didn‘t lack anything - Really good equipped kitchen. And when we had a problem, you could always rely on Finn Olav to help. If you seek complete relaxation and have a few days for yourself go to the arctic and visit Finns and Mariannes cabin. We also got to see the polar lights, but you are dependent on the weather and you should have the right equipment for taking photos. We were there for ten days and it was one of the best vacations we ever had. Lost a little bit of our hearts in the nature of Norway.
