It was a very quiet and cozy place, and the owner was very attentive. It was very convenient, with three high-quality hot springs in Oku-Kumano nearby. The bread for breakfast was very delicious. I want to use it again.

Our stay was incredible. (1) Regarding the hatago itself: in cleanliness, amenities, and attention to detail it is better than half the hotels in Tokyo (e.g., warmed beds, washer and drier, exceptional bathtub, kitchen appliances, high quality speaker, lighting control system). The house is beautifully designed and its system of screen doors provide a beautiful flow of space (e.g., a lovely front corridor drenched in sunlight to sit and read with a mountain view). (2) Lee was a superb host - friendly, so knowledgeable about nature in the area, really helpful. The dinners and breakfast were delicious, inventive, and full of local ingredients. It was so wonderful to interact with the chickens and goats! (3) Regarding the surrounds - perfect! A scenic river right beside, rolling mountain views, Ryujin onsen close by. Overall, 100% recommend and definitely returning again.

The house is huge and clean. Location is so close to the train station less than 10 min walk. Everything is nice and goood !!!!!
