“This place seems like it belongs somewhere in upper Africa, in the meanwhile it’s just around the corner up the Garden Route! This place is like a hidden paradise! It’s like you have your own little kingdom in the middle of the bush! It’s beautiful and we loved the eco friendly design and features! The sounds of the lions roaring while we sat around our fire place was just magical! Keegan was a fantastic host! This places Energy says it all! We will be back in the summer!”

“As a family with two small children (5 and 2 years old) we had four nice days in the cozy apartment of Anita and Hein. The two are extremely hospitable and take care of the well-being of their guests, so we got good tips for trips to the surrounding area on a rainy day. The location of the apartment is absolutely ideal for child-friendly excursions on the Garden Route. We particularly liked Birds of Eden, the Jukani Wildlife Center, the beach walk to Arch Rock and the breathtaking hike in the Robberg Nature Reserve. Everything can be achieved in a maximum of twenty to thirty minutes. The restaurants and farm stalls for all meals in the area are great and Anita and Hein give you very good tips, especially which places the children will like. The apartment is equipped with everything you need (oven, hob, microwave, fridge, grill) and basic things like salt, pepper, shower gel, etc. are provided. The two bedrooms are next to each other, so that one bedroom is a through room. It's great for families. Not so great for couples traveling together on a multi-day stay. The children had a lot of fun with the beach toys and other toys in the apartment. They found the “banana bird”, which visited us regularly to eat small pieces of banana, particularly funny.”
This vintage forest cabin is perched above our pristine mountain stream, set amidst a highly diverse indigenous botanical forest wetland. The cabin is entirely private with a large deck and extensive views of both mountain peaks. Hand built by owner over a period of two years, with hardwood floors throughout, hand waxed with beeswaxpolish from our own hives. Guests enjoy their own private access along their secluded forest path. A vintage Nestor Martin canon style wood stove will restore you.
“The stay in this cottage is a once in a lifetime eyperience you will never forget. Robert build it all by himself and it has so many little details thought through. The outside shower was wonderful and the meat that Robert prepared for our BBQ was super delicious. Although the cottage is situated in between the lush vegetation you wont have too many mosquitos. Robert is the most friendly host and puts his whole heart in the Garden and will make your stay unforgettable. Every morning he brought us fresh food and gave us Tipps to explore not only the plants and fruits in the Garden but the whole area. George played so adorable with our kids and is already also a super host. Thank you guys. You are awesome!”
