Luxury rentals in Kona

This home is incredible! it really is hard to describe how perfect the location is. It has a unique but super cool layout that is great for couples or big groups. Loved all the extra beach items as well. Lanie was super helpful and extremely responsive when we had any questions. We can't wait to come back!

House is great, Bora was very responsive and our on-sight helper Mark was great at check-in. Because things were so clear and easy there wasn't need to call on anyone during out stay. There were a couple of shutters that didn't seem to work, but this wasn't really an issue and - as such - was not brought to anyone's attention with the hope that it would be addressed.

We were rolling big on this vacation with 14 of us. The house was absolutely perfect due to the 8 bedrooms. The main living space was open, bright and calming. The outdoor spaces were inviting, the view was insanely beautiful and the pool/hot tub were a big hit! The outdoor showers were amazing - wish we had one back home. We would stay there again! Would recommend this beautiful home to anyone wanting to stay in the Kona area. Overall 5 star stunning home.

Kahieluana is a magnificent home, every bit as elegant and well situated as it appears in the photographs. We had a large family group of ten adults and the property worked extremely well for us. Overall, the home was beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and entertaining. The large kitchen/dining and pool/lanai areas provided ample opportunities to congregate, but there was also plenty of space for everyone to find some quiet when they needed it! The house was very clean and fitted with many smart home conveniences, as well as a sonos sound system. The bedrooms were of ample size and the beds were very comfortable. Our family had a lot of fun with all of the sporting options available at the house: tennis, pool table, volleyball, paddleboarding & snorkeling etc. We swam quite a bit in beautiful Puako bay amidst many beautiful reef fish and numerous turtles. There is a dive company (blue wilderness) that operates out of the boat ramp adjacent to the house and they were fantastic. We did three dives with them plus a nighttime manta ray snorkel session and they were excellent. The beach at the house is not ideal for lounging, however, there are a number of wonderful sandy beaches very close to the house, including Hapuna and beach 69. Alternatively, you can drive the short distance to one of the resorts such as Mauna Kea or Mauna Lani where there are also excellent sandy beaches, restaurants and shopping available. Puako bay is fairly quiet and does not have the amenities that you'd find in one of the resorts, however, we found that to be a plus. Andy, Kim and house manager Leah were fantastic - always responsive and helpful. We'd recommend this place to anyone.

Shannon is a great host. She made us feel very welcome in her gorgeous home. Shannon was very accommodating on checkout day when our flights were delayed by 5+ hours. The house itself looks exactly like the pictures. The back yard is secluded yet offers a stunning view of the ocean. The outside shower is great too as you can shower while looking at the ocean. The interior is beautifully decorated and has an impressive audio visual setup in both the main room and the master bedroom. Kitchen is large with gas stove top so it’s easy to cook. It is well stocked with high quality cookware, plates, silverware etc. We loved every minute of our stay and will certainly be staying here again on our next trip to the Big Island. Mahalo Shannon!!

Wonderful stay at this beautiful home. Very responsive to any needs we had during the stay or things that came up with appliances, etc. The house was gorgeous and the proximity and access to the beach club was a bonus. Small grocery store nearby had almost everything we needed to make Thanksgiving dinner and we had no problem cooking since the kitchen was well stocked as well. Beds were comfy and we enjoyed having bathrooms for each bedroom. Our three families had plenty of room to spread out without feeling crowded. Kids loved the pool and snorkeling at the nearby beach club. We tried out other beaches as well since there are so many options in the area. Would stay here again- really enjoyed the views and the privacy within a gated community. Fantastic memories made!

This is a beautiful place in a beautiful location. It’s like living in a private garden with plenty of beautiful places for everyone. Room to hang out all together, or spaces for private contemplation. It does take quite a crew to maintain this place, and they are on top of it every minute. So many thanks to them! Every space has a lovely view. And Kathleen the property manager was wonderful to work with. We had whales breaching in our back yard every day! The only minus was quite a few mosquitoes and no-see-ums, but that was a minor irritation. We’d sure like to return!

A gorgeous convenient house, with everything perfect. A lot of rentals are cluttered with owner junk and quirky features and design mistakes. This really feels like a hotel-designed and maintained house. I took pictures of it to get ideas if I were ever designing a vacation house. It's super fun to have the convenience of a private home where you can cook and have a lot of space, but all the amenities of a hotel. My kids loved riding to the pools in our golf carts! :)

Fantastic location. Walkable to the Mauna Lani Beach Club. Beautiful decor inside and out. On the wish list for better outfitting of kitchen: cloth napkins for six that match the woven placemats - the whole point of condo (for us anyway) is to be able to make and serve a few dinners, along with coffee & breakfast on lanai. Had to set the table with paper towels for napkins - only 3 cloth napkins which did not match the elegant setting or placemats. And having plastic wrap or baggies and foil should be included - at a minimum some storage containers... lastly - champagne flutes :) Maybe this is fine for other guests.
