Family-friendly vacation rentals in Komiža

Our family’s stay at Žarko’s place in Rudina was incredible. We felt right at home during our two week stay. The town of Rudina is quaint and lovely and we felt very welcomed by the locals. With Stari Grad just a short drive down the hill, it was very easy to get to the market, bakery, or restaurants when desired while still enjoying the peace and quiet of the hills outside of town. Our children enjoyed many days and evenings playing in the beautiful gardens. Žarko and his family are lovely hosts and we will surely come back to visit again someday.

This space was really special for our stay on Hvar. The view of the sea is stunning from the two separate balconies and the hot tub. The apartment is tidy and modern, giving you walkable access to both the gown and nearby Pokonji Dol. Would love to stay here again!

I think the description of the villa was great, but I will say it was even better in person ☺️ small details like heated bathroom floors and a host that was extremely communicative made the stay pristine. I also have never been in a more clean air bnb. This was my favorite air bnb stay ever. Thank you!!

Biserka and her family were incredibly kind and hospitable to my friends and me and helped make our experience in Hvar magical :)). Not to mention her adorable puppy!!!! Would most definitely stay with her again if I make it back out to Hvar —highly recommend! And the balcony along with the insane view was awesome.

Josipa was the perfect host! She picked us up from the bus station and then dropped our bags off there upon leaving Hvar. Very thorough check in and helpful tips for getting around. The space is beautiful! The views from the deck are stunning. We enjoyed our time here very much.

We have had a great time in beautiful Stari Grad! The villa is im a great location and extremely well equipped, with copious comfortable outdoor seating. Eva has been so helpful in local knowledge and even picked us up from the port and took us to the villa. The villa is in walking distance to stari grad which has a wide selection of bars and restaurants. We would highly recommend the villa and would like to thank Eva and Dragan for looking after us so well!!!

The location is great a 1 minute walk from the harbour, the house is very charming and beautifully renovated with lovely outdoor seating areas (unfortunately it was so hot we werent able to use them as much as we would have liked) and had everything we could have needed.

Everything was fantastic. Great apartment, good location, excellent host. I was extremely comfortable and super grateful to be accommodated a little earlier. I recommend and would stay again myself if in Hvar.

We were pleasantly surprised as the place is even nicer than the pictures. Great location about 1km from the city center with nice beaches just a 2 minute walk away. Grocery store just around the corner as well. Very clean place and the hosts were very welcoming and responsive to messages. Only issue is the wifi was very weak in the bedroom, but for such a short stay it was the least of our issues. Would highly recommend.

Our stay in Hvar was in May. We were supposed to stay 5 nights, but in the end we decided to go to 8 because Pjer's place was fantastic. It's really a comfort and relaxation area:) The place gives privacy, peace and quiet (we had very discreet neighbors on the floor above ). Comfortable chairs on the porch, a beautiful view of the greenery, the garden, and even the sea. The location is wonderful, 5 minutes and you are on a beautiful promenade that you can walk downtown, or watch the sunset. 6 minutes to Bonj Beach. The apartment is equipped as described, has various amenities such as blackout curtains in the bedroom, super comfortable mattress. The laundry room is fully functional. Contact with the owner is great, Pjer is very helpful. All in all, this is a place you want to come back to :)

we spent our one week holiday here and everything was very nice. clean and spacious apartment, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. air conditioner is high class and we liked to have our meals at the terrace. we traveled with our dog and he also enjoyed the holiday :) highly recommended apartment!

My four friends and I had the best time at Vlad’s place. First and foremost, the location is AMAZING. We were right there on the riva in the middle is everything, including the ferry, the water taxis, the bakery, the cafe, the ice cream shop, and even the grocery store. Second best was Vlad who was a wonderful host. He was responsive, met us upon arrival and departure to help with luggage, and left us a yogurt, fruit, charcuterie, wine and even champagne! As for the house itself, it is charming and authentic while being highly functional. I will note that the two larger bedrooms on the third level are connected, so you must walk through one to get to the other. Anyway, we have a wonderful time on Hvar and Vlad’s place was a key part of that.

We had a great time at Irena’s. Wonderful location, walking distance into town and very responsive host. The amenities were all as listed and the place was super clean. Bathroom in particular was lovely. They provided us with lots of wonderful local recommendations which we loved.

Great place to stay for a few days. Very quiet neighbourhood. It’s a 20min walk uphill from the harbour. The room is small but has everything you need to cook a light meal and there was shampoo and soap. The balcony is lovely. Would definitely recommend for a couple of days.

Petar’s place is right in the top of one of the mountains in Hvar island, you can really see the sea and the surrounding islands. Petar and his mom were very nice. We recommend this place

Steps away from a beautiful and not crowded beach (mid- July). Because it’s away from the £££ area of Hvar, beach beds are only €20 for two including parasol. Apartment has two bathrooms, so big enough for 4 adults, assuming you are eating out in the evenings.

There should be something beyond 5 stars for such stay. Marija and Marco are so kind, and wonderful hosts. The breakfast is something I miss writing this review, it was so good, and there was an option to choose one warm dish, with tea/ coffee, and also orange juice. It was nicest of all places I have stayed with airbnb so far. A solid 10 out of 10.

Our time in Sveta Nedilja was the highlight of a wonderful trip. Vilma's property is beautifully landscaped with olive trees and native plants. It's hard to describe the vast beauty of the Adriatic Sea from the pool or from the patio. Vilma was always helpful but never intrusive nor bothersome. The winery at the bottom of the hill was a one of a kind experience. Having proximity to that, along with the restaurant was world class.

Filip was an amazing host, always helpful, friendly and made us feel right at home. We all loved the house and location, easy walk into Hvar and in the other direction to a wonderful beach. The house was comfortable and had all we needed. The pool was perfect. Highly recommended and thanks Filip!

Before we arrived, we spoke with Spomenka daily, she was very quick with responding. This was our first time in Hvar, and we will definitely return next year. Not just for Hvar, but for the warm welcome and homely feel that Spomenka gave us. She is truly a terrific host! So kind, so welcoming, she was like our mom❤️ The apartment we stayed was amazing, great location, great amenities through out, and local shops and restaurants are in 5mins of a walk. Her apartments deserve nothing but respect, because she respects everyone who stays. You’re not a tourist when you stay with spomenka, you’re are like family. She organises your taxi fair (at a very reasonable price). J&B holiday homes are they way to go when booking a place in Hvar, the atmosphere of Spomenka’s place really made our holiday so much better. I know her dad looked after the flowers, but Spomenka and her daughter are truly making an effort to keep his candle lit! On vas sve gleda odozgo s velikim osmijehom! Puno ljubavi ❤️

Great, very well maintained apartment with private pool. Highly recommended. Very friendly welcome. It is better to park at the beginning of the street as it is very narrow and you can hardly turn there.

Good position, away from the madding crowd. Generous sized room. Friendly host. Good cevapi and burgers 2 min walk around corner at Big Bang. Didn’t have to walk back into town
